Candlewood Suites O Fallon by IHG

I returned the keys right after checking in. Soon as I walked in, I noticed how hot it was upon checking in. No free buffet breakfast. No swimming pool. The elevator wasn’t working properly. So I had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs with luggage. The room key was faulty and took me awhile to get in. And don’t even get me started on the room. False advertising.

Everything went well. I plan tobstay at this hotel in the future.

The elevator did not work well and was incredibly slow when it did work, so we did not use it for safety concerns. This made our stay most unpleasant, as our room was on the 4th, top floor.

Clean and comfortable.

There wasn't a breakfast. ? The elevator didn't work most of our experience. Poor lady at the desk had to keep doing something in a small adjacent room to get it to work for people. ?

The room was not very clean, things were falling off the walls in the bathroom and the furniture was falling apart on the chairs in the kitchen. The staff was not very helpful and we only stayed two of the six days we were there.

Only liked how close it was too everything and the room setup That you had to go downstairs to get your own towels and only clean the room on sundays.

The bedding smelled like it wasn’t washed with detergent. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The couch looked like it had been rode hard. Wouldn’t even dare sit on it. The room smelled awful as did the entire property!

Staff were nice. Coffee not drinkable. Bathroom a bit dirty. Bed slept good. Needs a good sprucing up overall.

Nice hotel

Once inside, there is just one elevator that is pretty slow, as elevators go in 4-story hotels. The parking lot has a lot of potholes, so be careful driving in and out. There are no ice machines. The rooms have icemakers in the freezers, but since you have to turn them on when you check into your room, it will be awhile before you get any. If you need to refill an ice chest, you’ll be out of luck. Lastly, the hotel room doors are heavy to open, and it’s impossible to keep them open for any length of time, which is frustrating when bringing in luggage with both hands. I ended up with a a bruise on my arm & a sore toe from the door slamming shut with me still in the doorway.

The furniture was old and the vinyl on the chairs was peeling, but overall clean and comfortable. Excellent for the price if your expectations are on par for the price.

Pets welcome so stayed here before . Staff pleasant when engaged. Choices of restaurants near by or can cook in suite.

The room was clean for the most part. The counter chairs were in bad shape all the leather was peeling off. The microwave was dirty.

Clean room, friendly staff, happy guest :)

Check in & check out was great, room very clean.

The gym is great, the TV’s are nice (bring a fire stick, the smart tvs don’t have internet packages yet).
