Extended Stay America Select Suites - St. Louis - O' Fallon, IL

I have stayed at so many hotels and cannot remember a time when the staff was more helpful. I arrived with two specific issues and was greeted with a smile and "how can I help?" attitude, solving both issues effortlessly. It's exactly what you hope to encounter when dealing with customer service and almost never do. The property itself was clean and comfortable but what set it apart was my first encounter at the desk. Cannot recommend it enough.

The freezer in our room was disgusting.

The bathroom was not clean. The base of the toilet was covered in urine. The tub was rusty and dirt was embedded in the tub’s bottom. The wash cloth was like sandpaper and the 2 towels were miniature size.

Good sized room with king-sized bed, 2 desks/tables, 2 office chairs, and recliner. Our 3 cats were comfortable. No problems!

The room just wasn’t properly cleaned. Hair on beds, dirty bathrooms. It was a really unfortunate experience.

Bed was comfortable. Surprised to see no basic supplies in the room. No shampoo, conditioner, 1 bar of soap. No kitchen items, coffee maker, paper cups, etc. This is a bare-bones place; read all the details and reviews to help inform your stay. We originally had 2 reservations at this place, but we dropped the 2nd.

Everything was good I would recommend that people stay here than in some of those hotels my stay was very pleasant the place was always very quiet and kept very clean

We got a room on the main floor that had a weird smell. In addition, the countertop and cabinets had some sharp corners from previous wear and tear. The front desk staff immediately changed our room to one upstairs, and it was great. The front desk staff was very very friendly!

Kitchen was not equipped but we did not need it. Just stayed one night. Room was very dated. Overall property run down. Grounds are dirty with trash everywhere. Room was not very clean. Toothpaste from previous occupants on the counter.

Close to attractions An extended stay that had no plastic ware or silverware. There was no pots, pans, cups or anything with the full kitchenette. No ice and on top of that you were required to take your own trash!

It’s a very nice place to stay if you going to be there for a while and much more reasonable than paying to stay in hotels .

The room wasn't clean e walked in and the bed was made. No toiletries. Had to get towels before they closed. The underside of the sink was nasty. There was no house cleaning. The elevatewaterd smelled and no one had cleaned the floors. There were stains on the carpet and the walls. The carpet in the room was very dirty and have multiple stains throughout the floor.

There was no shampoo, shower gel, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pot and pans, hair dryer, flatware, or any of the normal items one usually has in a motel. In an extended stay place one would expect these things. Further, the bed was way too hard and uncomfortable. Woke up with a horrible backache both days. This is partly my fault for not reading the description well enough. I have traveled a lot and have never seen a place with absolutely NO amenities. There weren't even hand towels! Two large towels and two wash cloths were all that was there. All in all it was a pretty miserable experience. Glad it was only two nights.

I did sleep really well though, it was quiet and the bed seemed to have clean sheets.
