Best Western Okemos/East Lansing Hotel & Suites

Rooms, hallways and the grounds needs to be cleaned a lot better.

Stayed for 3 nights June 28th-1st of July. I have to say the service was exceptional. We will definitely stay at this property again, the breakfast was very good, front desk staff was amazing and the rooms were clean and comfortable. 5 star service.

Modern & clean, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are a nice size, and of course this locations has a multitude of restaurants within walking distance and the hotel is located just off the expressway with a few steps away gas stations for ease of convenience & travel. Will definitely stay here again!

Stay was great! Pool was great! Housekeeping not so much when they knock on the door at 8:15 in the morning. When check out is 11:00!!! And then proceed to enter the room luckily I had the latch on and the luggage rack in front of the door.

The bed was comfortable. The pool was just warm enough and clean. The pool area was clean too. The breakfast was good - waffles, Danish, fruit, cereal - hot and cold . The eggs and meat varied by day. Coffee was good. Most of the staff were very friendly. A couple of them seemed to be having a tough day. Lots of parking. Room layout was a little confusing and we had to walk a ways before getting to the elevator from the front desk.

Finally they put us in a suite cuz they didn’t have any more queen rooms for the night. Front desk guy tried to help but was clearly overwhelmed and under supported. Had to ask for sheets for pull out bed and mattress was stained and had springs sticking up but our kids were already so tired waiting and it was after midnight. Went down and had to get bedding to cover stained mattress (no bedding was innit when we pulled it out)

However, breakfast was delicious the staff during breakfast were much more polite and accommodating.

Rooms and property are clean. Beds very comfortable. Did not stay long enough to use extra amenities. We will stay here again

TV didn’t work. Woman at desk came and said people plug in Xboxes and change plugs. It took her 10 minutes to fix it. It should have been checked before I got there I stayed two nights and room had not been cleaned when I returned on second day. I was told that they weren’t cleaned unless I asked for it. No one told me at check-in. Room was clean and staff helpful and friendly.

It was clean and well maintained. Until about 10 pm, it was pretty noisy in the hallway outside my room. Otherwise, everything was fine. There was a good selection at breakfast.

Perfect for a quick trip and 1 night stay.

I liked the location and the facilities were nice. When we had an issue with the rooms air, they were willing to move us. But, the air started working. The room was not clean when we came in, found a large lid. There was a group of kids running the hallways, screaming and cussing. I called and requested someone to take care of it the second night. I finally had to step out and tell them to stop. There was a cart and dirty towels in the hallway. Outlet in lamp did not work. The key cards quit on us 2x.

The room was amazing and clean The pool was absolutely gross. Full of dead bugs and pollen and leaves which was strange for being an indoor pool. The fridge barely kept things cool never cold. The beds are hard as rocks. There was a group of softball girls there. Absolutely loud rude and disruptive. The night lady at desk, well went down once and she is the definition of ditzy blonde. I paid over $100 to get horrible sleep, have to pick crap out of pool so my son and I could breifly use it. Had to go to front desk for towels for pool and got no help with the noise and door slamming issues. Wouldn’t suggest to stay at and I will never go back.

No housekeeping during stay, even though we were there 3 nights. Would have been nice to empty waste baskets Staff was friendly and helpful So not exceptionally good but not so bad We would stay again

Check in and check out staff was very nice and helpful! The rooms could use some repairs. I know its a pet friendly hotel but the side of the bed was all chewed up from a previous person that stayed before us. The towel rack holder was falling apart. But overall very happy with our stay and was very convenient for our event.
