Courtyard by Marriott East Lansing Okemos

The rooms were comfortable, the fitness center was larger and more well equipped than most in hotels of this class. Would have liked to have complimentary coffee and breakfast in the lobby, which this hotels does not offer, but there is a Statbucks very close by.

Great stay ! Staff was great !

We had to cancel our stay. After making reservations that showed a pool on line, we were told there was no pool at check in. Our money was kept after we were told it would be refunded. We made our reservation the day before our stay and was told they could not refund because we did not give a two day notice. We were unable to get them to understand that we had just made the reservation the day before. Then we were told, sorry, we cannot help you. Okemos is where we had lived for 35 years. I was so disappointed to be treated this way by a local business. We brought our granddaughter there for a special night of pool time, and memories with us and it only got worse after our money was kept. The advertisement showed a pool. The man and woman attending the counter even commented, yes, it shows a pool but we do not have one. We left hoping we could find another room on no notice as our granddaughter was standing there listening to this disappointing conversation. We have nothing good to share or share in the community we are very involved with. Clarity in advertisement and honesty in refunding our money.

Not very much. The bathroom has many black glue marks on the floor.

Great stay. Nice hotel but second time in my last two stays there they tell me the bartender/restaurant was closed due to “emergency “ from bartender. This was second time they said the bartender called out for emergency. The main reason I stay there is for the opportunity to not leave and have dinner and a drink. Was disappointed with that again. But, staff was nice and in a good location.

Superb

The room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed and nice large bathroom. Liked the round couch/loveseat in the room. The room was quiet. We were on the 4th floor. The pro to this hotel room was the most important which is a great bed and clean room. The cons for me were a thermostat that if no movement in the room stops. So when sleeping may not stay the temperature you like. There was a coffee maker in the room but no free coffee in the lobby. Overall was a great stay and would stay again.

Very clean great area

This location was very clean in the common areas as well as the room being fairly new with the beds very comfortable. Staff was very helpful as there was a slight complication with the reservation, and it was taken care of properly and professionally.. And very close to the highway for easy access.

Clean and quiet N/A

Staff was friendly and the onsite fitness center was nice (and clean). Our only issue was that the hotel room never seemed to "dry out." There were no exhaust fans in the bathroom and the hvac was motion sensitive, so no air flow during the day to help things evaporate.

Nice clean rooms and helpful staff

The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He made multiple trips to our room to get us a rollaway bed for one of our kids. He was great.

Free parking is nice, safe neighborhood and the outside patio is lovely. Extras (water, coffee, adult beverages, etc.) were pricey, but the room itself was not - so on balance, a good value for a clean room, Starbucks quality food and beverage, and safe surroundings. I highly recommend the deli across the street, really good food.

Location Wedding party partied until 3:30 A M

Rooms and location - walkable to other restaurants and walking/running paths. Check in was tedious, clunky and time consuming.
