Courtyard by Marriott East Lansing Okemos

Staff was friendly and the onsite fitness center was nice (and clean). Our only issue was that the hotel room never seemed to "dry out." There were no exhaust fans in the bathroom and the hvac was motion sensitive, so no air flow during the day to help things evaporate.

The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He made multiple trips to our room to get us a rollaway bed for one of our kids. He was great.

Free parking is nice, safe neighborhood and the outside patio is lovely. Extras (water, coffee, adult beverages, etc.) were pricey, but the room itself was not - so on balance, a good value for a clean room, Starbucks quality food and beverage, and safe surroundings. I highly recommend the deli across the street, really good food.

Rooms and location - walkable to other restaurants and walking/running paths. Check in was tedious, clunky and time consuming.

The staff was very nice. The manager was great, but can’t fix old mattresses, or change the wallpaper. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable.

The price was inflated for graduations, and there wasn’t one complementary thing.

Very clean and new. Beds comfortable and location good. Noone at desk when we went to checkout. There was a key drop, so we just left the keys. We assumed this was ok, however I would have felt better if I had officially checked out.

Great accommodations. Location for MSU is excellent. Price was great, bed very comfortable, clean, spacious room, nice amenities , friendly staff. The only negative was the water pressure of the shower was not very strong.

I booked a continuous stay from February 9–23 through Hotels.com at this property. My reservation was accepted at check-in and valid ID was presented and approved. I occupied the same room during the entire stay. On February 22, one day before my scheduled checkout, I was asked to leave the property even though my reservation was still active. No written notice was provided and no relocation assistance was offered. Police were called to the property, but no citation or violation was issued. I was not given any written explanation of the situation. Later, when I attempted to begin another reservation at a nearby Marriott property, the stay was declined due to an alleged complaint that had never been communicated to me during my completed stay. When I returned to retrieve my belongings, I discovered that my personal property had been removed from the room and placed in a basket in the lobby without my presence. Some items, including medication, were missing. This experience was extremely concerning and did not reflect the level of professionalism I normally expect when staying at Marriott properties
