Hampton Inn & Suites East Lansing/Okemos

The breakfast was largely a standard free hotel breakfast, but they did use real eggs and I liked the chicken sausage. There were 2 types of waffle makers and a choice of batter. The sitting area for the breakfast is large. Our room was 106, and the only issue with it was the window blind control to raise the window blind didn't work. This didn't bother us as the window is on the first floor and faces the parking lot, so we wanted it down and private anyhow. The three staff members that I talked to were all extremely pleasant and nice to speak with. There is a cracker barrel restaurant a very short drive from the hotel, and another restaurant within walking distance. of the hotel. The exterior doors of the hotel on the side of the building are locked and can be opened from the outside with a room key, handy for parking depending upon your room location. We will be staying here again when we travel through this area.

Delicious breakfast, excellent room! The front desk staff was extremely accommodating and polite. Our room was very comfortable and very large. The sofa and comfy chairs were an added bonus.

Room definitely needed a good deep cleaning. The duvet had staining on it, first thing we noticed so we took that off immediately. There was dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom and the bedroom. The bed was absolutely awful. I travel a lot and this was by far one of the worst. The pool was nice but the chlorine was so potent. Many people came in and opened the door to the outside patio to help with that. Also the pool didnt get cleaned or restocked until late morning / early afternoon. So if you swim in the morning there is a good chance there are no towels and stuff around the area from the night before. Breakfast was okay, not a lot of variety. Location is nice, very close to express way as well as places to eat. Staff was fairly friendly.

We have stayed in scores of Hampton’s over the years….this is one of the best.

I give it a 4* because it could use some help around ice machine, pool area had hair and few trash. Staff were great, breakfast is very good, will stay again.

The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, bed was comfortable I had booked a room with *two* beds, and had only been given *one* bed. I blame Booking, yes *you* for this My friend felt as if he needed to pay for his own separate room because of this

At some point I did ask them if they could transfer us to another room & they said they were at capacity & could not move us. A very unfortunate situation for us to say the least
