Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Oklahoma City North by IHG

Our room smelled like wet dog. We bought an air cleaner and put it in the room so we weren’t coughing and sneezing all night. The bathroom had dirty corners, but the shower and bathtub were both clean. The staff was friendly and pleasant on our arrival. The location was right where we needed it to be as we had a family member having surgery at a nearby hospital. The heater/ac worked fine. The ice machine worked well. We were able to stay on the first floor, for which we were very thankful.

It looked like it was a drug hotel. There were people hanging outside of it and you just did not get the feeling that you were safe. They were very unprofessional at the front desk.The place was dirty.The facility itself was dirty. And we had somebody pound on our door like they were the police at 1 o'clock in the morning, and then when we looked out the people nobody was there, so it felt very sketchy as if they wanted us to open the door so that they could rob us.So we did end up calling the police.I will never stay there again.It is not safe. Also, you could not even rent movies.They had no apps to where you could log into , like your netflix or your prime video et cetera , which is a real basic thing that a hotel should have. And if we had been younger women , me and my friend are over fifty , so we didn't fear being trafficked , but we felt like that could be a real possibility at this hotel.

No plugs worked , I told the front desk she act like she didn’t know English ,so for now on I won’t be coming back . Also my lights didn’t work, and A/C in the living room didn’t either

Don't let the outside of the building scare you, the inside is wonderful and truly our new favorite hotel to stay at when visiting OKC or heading down to Norman for an OU game. Will be returning!

Doors and windows around the pool area rusted. Jacuzzi barely had any bubbles coming out. Most of the time, key wouldn't work because of the locks apparently were too moist???? A/c in the room, very loud.
