Impressed with the entire hotel.

Congested and malfunctioning elevators. Run-down, out-dated room. Location was really the only upside.

Breakfast was good. The location was awesome. We were within walking distance to everything that we wanted to do except for the zoo, but it was not very far away at all. There was a convenient store across the street. The tattoo place was across the street tons of great little stores to stop at and fun things to do. The park was beautiful in the evening. The weather was awesome. The streets felt safe to walk down and there was barely any homeless. Our room was almost perfect. There were a couple of things that we did not like. The bathroom sink faucet was so stupid. It did not fit the design of the sink very well and it was hard to access the water. You need to find a better faucet that allows more access to the water. The faucet sits too far back on the counter. The shower did not drain very well, so we were standing in a pool of water when we showered, and the itty-bitty table did not provide much room for us when we sat on the couch we brought some dice to play Yahtzee and it was very hard to play on a table that was only meant to hold a drink or two.

Excellent hotel right in the middle of so many activities! Just minutes from the Doorly Zoo and the Durham Museum! Also very walkable neighborhood with shopping and dining options everywhere!

Great location and parking. Breakfast was great for the family.

The room itself had much to be desired; the beds were not very comfortable, the bathroom door didn't lock and wasn't fully secured to the ground, there were many areas where part of the wall and/or paint was poorly patched, the faucet was so close to the counter that you couldn't use the faucet without getting the counter wet, and there was virtually no sound-proofing to the walls making it quite loud at night requiring the use of a sound machine which thankfully we brought. The pool was nice. It was great to have free breakfast but it was disappointing; there were only waffles one day, fruit tasted questionable some of the days, and staff had trouble keeping food and drinks stocked throughout the breakfast hours.

Good location for being in the Old Market.

Really nice front desk person greeted us and helped us right away. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good and again staff was nice. I would recommend!

The overall experience was fine and I would probably stay there again. Just need some oversite and maintenance in the areas mentioned.

Great location Don't know what was going on with the elevators, but it was a 5-10 minute wait every time to get on one. Also, the rooms aren't sound proofed at all. I could hear all kinds of street noise (even while on the 8th floor) and constant noise in the halls as well.

Great location The pool was closed.
