Terrible staff terrible place

staff was very nice and friendly. my room was clean and was very comfortable.

I love this hotel. The decor and style is fun. Staff are always amazing and welcoming to me. The bar is great especially with the free drink. The HVAC system is a bit loud when sleeping.

Parking is across the street in a public parking garage, a little inconvenient because of the street car construction. We were able to add parking on to our stay. There was a little mix up where we did not get our parking pass code. We were able to follow the directions Moxy gave us and we had no problems getting our car out. Nice little bar, good coffee in the morning. We will stay again.

Exceptional

The bad news: The parking situation was bad. The road for the hotel was partially closed so getting to the parking garage while dragging luggage through downtown was a big pain. After managing traffic and closures from hotel to garage (15 minutes +), I had to walk a couple blocks, cross at a clearing, and walk back a couple of blocks with a heavy back-pack and suitcase. Parking also cost $18 a day. When I arrived I was tired and the parking gymnastics were nearly enough to make me find another hotel. The cost made it much worse. Check-in to driving around the block twice due to construction to finally getting my luggage into my room took about 45 minutes. In the spirit of hospitality, parking should be free or significantly discounted while the construction is blocking access. There should also be a concierge available to help with luggage. These are ways to make weary travelers feel cared for. The coffee is good, but be forewarned there's no in-room coffee, which was also surprising to me. Finally, I barely slept because even on the 5th floor noise from loud, startling mufflers on the street and loud country music floated right into my room. This was with a white noise machine. I had to get up at 6 so this was pretty upsetting.

Love all the Moxy hotels!!!

It was very clean and modern. However the size of the room reminded me of a New York hotel room. Very small the size of a big closet really. The road construction around the hotel leaves you walking a country mile from the parking garage unless you jump road barriers.

Friendly and helpful staff. No closets or iron in the room. Reasonable price and good location. A little hard to get to with the construction. The free signature drink was a nice suprise.

Great hotel, very clean rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. 24 hour food was a lifesaver late at night, even with a very limited selection. Will stay here again when I am in town!

Location. Room worked well for my needs. Fridge and microwave. I know posher hotels don't normally have them but people like them.

Perfect place to go. Super clean and staff very helpful. Location is great also.

Loved the location and the rooms were clean and simple. My only problem was there was no microwave or mini fridge in the rooms, but the staff was king enough to bring us a fridge up.
