Overall, we had a nice stay and would stay here again. My only complaints are related to our time spent at the pool. For starters, if you want a lounge chair and you don't want to spend $125 to reserve one, you better be at the pool at 8am when it opens. There are only a handful of lounge chairs that aren't saved for those who have reserved them. I was at the pool at 8:10am on Saturday and there were four chairs available. I grabbed one for me and one for my husband and was then told I couldn't save one for him, he had to be there. We paid for 2 nights in a suite, and I was being told I couldn't save a chair for him while he finished his breakfast. I was surprised to find that many of the chairs reserved weren't even people staying at the hotel, they bought a day pass to the pool. We decided to order lunch from the bar in the pool area and were told that they weren't taking any more orders because the kitchen was backed up but you also aren't allowed to bring in your own food. After about an hour I tried again and was able to order. The hamburger and edamame were great; the tacos were dry. They had DJ in the evening, and it was a weird vibe. Mostly a few people left over from partying, a few older people who weren't able to get a spot earlier in the day and families with kids and there was a DJ playing house music. It felt like they haven't figured out their identity or brand for the pool. The staff, however, were great!! The coffee shop and Orleans rest were delish.

Loved the pool, dinner at committee, lunch at the Orleans room, all great.

This was a very beautiful historical hotel. Beautiful swimming pool area with a bar and restaurant. Hotel lobby had a restaurant with a beautiful bar and the basement had what I would call a speakeasy bar with a restaurant attached. So much entertainment in this hotel for everyone. Very dog friendly too.

We stayed for a weekend for my daughter's bachelorette party, and it was fantastic! The Blackstone District is a great place to venture for what we needed with our group, so this hotel is in the perfect location. The rooms were so nice, and the pool was amazing! I can't say enough about the pool area. Everything was beautiful, and the staff was so kind and helpful. We will definitely come back another time.

The hotel is Beautiful, pool fantastic. Only flaw. Pillows are Terrible, bring your own.

The entire hotel has old world glamorous character. The pool is very relaxing and wonderful service.

The best part of the stay was the staff, everyone was kind and helpful. We visited on a holiday weekend that coincided with a wedding there, and it was obvious they were quite busy and things were a little hectic with coordination. They handled it well and were very accommodating to us despite some delays with our room availability and a technical issue. My only complaint is that the room had some slight issues - ill fitting bedding and the wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom wall.

It was a beautiful place and well kept. Very nice for me and the bachelor trip to enjoy for the weekend.

Very nice place the location was not easy to get around due to construction.

Then there is an app that you can go on to reserve a pool lounger also. We did not know about this so it left very few chairs left available while no one was in the reserved chairs. There is also an area that is designated/roped off that is for the guest that don’t have a reserved chair. It felt weird. At check-in we weren’t told that our room came with breakfast. Thank goodness my husband happened to remember at the last minute and asked. The representative then checked and said yes your room comes with breakfast you will just need to put it to your room. Thank goodness my husband remembered. The restaurant area seating arrangement is also weird. They sit you very close to the next table. So close in fact you feel as though you are dining together. From our last visit the hotel feels different. Not welcoming. Just our opinion for an upscale hotel.

Common areas of the hotel were very clean, especially considering the heavy rain. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Beautiful old building tastefully remodeled. Nice location and great bar downstairs.
-
Historical hotel with great pool area with bar. Great Rueben Sandwich!
-
Just pure class. Maybe not the most inspiring room you’ll ever stay in but the whole property is immaculate and the pool is top notch. The basement restaurant & bar is incredible. If you’re in Omaha, stay here.
