DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando Downtown

The staff was great. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Valet was great and responsive. Location is great. Hotel is very dated and it shows. Refreshment/ice rooms unavailable as equipment wasn’t working. Elevators were like an amusement ride and very scary: they made all kinds of noises & jerking movements, the doors would slam then bounce open and closed while ascending and descending on one of them.

Perfect for a one night stay. Was able to get 2 rooms next to each other so my husband and I could separate from our teens and rest at night.

We have stayed at this hotel more than once. It is very convenient. It’s easy. It is clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable. It is right down the block from the airport which is why we use it. Will definitely be back.

It was a great place to stay. Clean and the coffee shop staff was great. The Valet staff went over and beyond! We really like the hotel!

Overall, my stay was very good. I love how clean and well maintained everything was! I also enjoyed the delicious cookies the front staff provided whenever I asked! The television service was not totally functional for the first couple of days of my stay, however this didn’t prevent me from watching television. Service was restored eventually.

Good stay for the night. Nothing special. Hotel could use some updates.

Pay the extra to stay somewhere else next

This is an old hotel, not a fan of the carpet in the rooms, but it was very clean. Having a parking garage was nice.

The hotel was in a great location, but the hotel itself needs to be updates and or taken care of. When arriving to my room the cable line was completely disconnected from the TV so it didn't work. Once I discovered that I fixed it. I called down for towels and was informed they would be up shortly after waiting 30 minutes I called back down and was told that no one could bring them but I could come down and get them myself (I did that seeing I needed them). The room had carpet coming up in transition spots and the shower diverter broke when I was there. Overall not a good experience and especially for the price.

Only complaint is my TV didnt work first day

Surprisingly wonderful stay for the price right off I4. Approx 10min Uber from Church Street & Kia Center, very convenient place to stay for a concert or event. Staff was very pleasant. Although the property charges a nightly fee to park in the garage, there is a good amount of parallel parking for free right next to the hotel on a quiet street, which is more convenient than the garage.

Great stay! Clean and very comfortable beds and pillows!

Room was clean but quite warm when we arrived. Discovered that one of the AC units by the bed (it was a suite) was switched off. Turned it on and it had a knocking noise but worked. On the good side, the shower had great water pressure and instant hot water.

I was able to save $$ by parking on the available on street parking. Plan ahead as free parking is on a first come basis! The only deferred maintenance item needing immediate attention is the bathroom sink drain was clogged with massive amounts of hair and other debris. Not what I expected to find.

Front desk staff was extremely rude and hotel looks dirty and needs updating
