Drury Inn & Suites near Universal Orlando Resort

Despite the three stars, I had a very good experience. This specific hotel was on bit dated but had well-maintained and clean features. The pool was lovely, and the staff was great. Our biggest issue is really what the cooling which we could not capitalize 70° for any night that we were there!

Rooms were cleaned every day. Staff very nice and helpful. We didn’t enjoy the food for breakfast or kickback unfortunately but a lot of others did. We found it bland and very samey. Breakfast and kickback unfortunately back time wasn’t always the cleanest in the canteen area.

Housekeeping was top notch. All front desk people were kind and helpful. Kick back meals were a nice bonus but could vary more in terms of options. Wish we could have used the complimentary drinks later after returning from parks. Breakfast was very good. Soda/coffee all day is awesome. Kids loved the popcorn machine at night too. Nice to have access to free shuttle to Universal but didn’t always get to sit on the bus despite making reservations. Overall great family friendly place to stay if you are planning a trip to Universal.

The staff in the dining room breakfast service were amazing and attentive. It’s shocking to me how rude, lazy and messy alot of people are but the staff were always working hard to keep it clean. The food dishes were always full and fresh

The Breakfast is always wonderful and the Dinner was suprise Good on some day. Very nice pool area and very close to Univerisal Studios.

I stayed there with my family for 4 nights. The staff were excellent especially the manager, he was moving around asking us if we needed any help. The front desk provided excellent service and I would rank them among the best. One issue was the room size and bed were not as comfy as other hotels that we visited before. Still for the price I give it 4.5 out of 5.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent location!

We just got back from our July vacation. This was our first time with Drury inn and suites and our stay did not disappoint! From the moment we checked in til check out, everything was seamless. The staff were welcoming and went above and beyond for us. There was a Spanish young man that worked the front desk most days and he was so helpful, kind, and polite especially to my son with special needs. We had Breakfast every morning and kick backs in the evening that both had a great variety. The only thing I found unpleasant were the shuttles. The very early ones were always packed as they pick up from other hotels in the area. You can only book 24 hours in advance so you have to go to the universal desk every morning first thing to book the next one as they fill up fast. However It was a short trip from the hotel to city walk. I never used the return shuttles as they did not have anything til after 5pm and most days we were back by 3-4pm. The pool was clean and well maintained. We stayed in a king room and we had a view of the epic fireworks every night! This will be our go to hotel when in Orlando and I cannot wait to book here again!

From the moment we checked in, Andrew made us feel welcome. He asked if it was our first visit and took the time to explain all of the amazing perks, especially the 5:30 Kickback® from 5:30–7:00 p.m., where each guest receives a card for three complimentary drinks along with rotating hot food and snacks. During our stay they had pulled pork, hot dogs, chips and salsa, and complimentary popcorn in the lobby. The value here is incredible. Between the free hot breakfast, the evening Kickback with drinks and food, complimentary popcorn, and the very reasonable pet fee, it’s hard to beat everything that’s included. What really made our stay memorable, though, was the staff. We had a terrifying moment when we thought our cat had disappeared. Jeremiah immediately came upstairs and assured us he wasn’t leaving until we found him. After searching everywhere, he opened one of the dresser drawers, and out he popped! We never would have thought to look there. His calm attitude, kindness, and determination turned a stressful situation into one we’ll laugh about for years. The staff truly cares about their guests. Excellent service, wonderful amenities, pet-friendly, and an outstanding value. We highly recommend this property and will absolutely be back!

The drury hotel was wonderful! Just what we needed for a night before heading to our universal hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was nice. We liked that it wrapped around in the sun. The kickbacks were good, same with the drinks! Not complaining as no other hotels do this!! The breakfast was even better! Overall we would definitely come back!!

I was impressed by this hotel, everything is wonderful!! It is very centrally located, parking is free, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. One thing that sets it apart from others is the "Kickback"—something I had never seen at another hotel—which offers excellent food and three drinks every day. It was an incredible experience for me. I recommend it 100%.

Drury Hotels never disappoint! The places are always very clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is truly family-oriented. They go above and beyond with their generous breakfast and happy hour snacks, which make the stay even more enjoyable. Every time I’ve stayed at a Drury, it’s been a memorable experience. When I travel with my family, I always choose Drury - my kids absolutely love it. In fact, even when we're at home, they beg me to book a night there just for the breakfast and the fun! Highly recommend for families looking for comfort, value, and great service.
