Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Int'l Drive/Convention Center

It was close to everything, we could walk and take the Lynk busses #8, 38 and 42. We paid 4 dollars for adults and 2 for children and we ride aĺl day. The breakfast was amazing it kept us filled all day. The pool was warm and relaxing. The room was maintained daily. They did not deduct any money from our account until we checked out, they kept it on hold which I found exceptional as such we didn't have to wait for refund on the security deposit. Book the facility and thank me later! Paid parking as such we didn't rent a car.

The stay was over all good for the exception of experiencing several issues in the room and being unable to reach the front desk. Incident 1: the toilet became backed up, attepted calling the front desk for assistance and no one answered after countless attempts. Incident 2: Our iron stopped working. Attempted another round of calls to the front desk, to no avail. We had to flag down housekeeping staff in the hallway to obtain a replacement iron. Incident #3: Our room was never cleaned or supply replenished while the do not disturb card was not being used Cleaning staff was witnessed on their personal devices on personal calls, may have been too distracted and missed our room. Instead of making an attempt to call the front desk, I traveled down to personally report the uncleanliness of the room. The hotel has much potential, but definitely can use customer service improvements. The pool was dirty, the staff was a bit rude, especially when issues were pointed out.

Great Hotel

Location and friendly staff One of the two elevators was out of service until the last two days of our stay, so we had to wait quite a long time for the only elevator that was working. Several times, we chose to take the stairs instead. Only three “standard” towels were provided even though there were four guests in the room. The yogurts at breakfast kept running out and were not replenished. There was also no one monitoring the breakfast area to make sure food was not being taken upstairs. The rooms were very humid!

The location, the room, the cleaning service Breakfast. There waa good, bit the 2 times i went to jave brrakfast they dont have fruit and yogurth. I asked to the girl she said she will refill but didnt happen, then i aaked gain and she said that if there is nothinf there there is no more. And she told me before she will fill it, and ahe gave some to another lady.

the hospitality was great. At check in and out the clerk explained everything. I was really surprised at how nice all the staff was. I know you had to pay for overnight parking. When I arrived at the parking area there was several signs that read scan to pay. I just parked and went inside. The clerk explained that I could scan with iPhone or they could just add it to the invoice. She also explained that if I scan I would not need to put colored paper in vehicle dashboard. I decided to add fee to invoice and she gave me a color paper to put on dashboard.

This hotel had all amenities and services available. There was only one elevator working at the time but it didn’t produce a great hindrance, I was on the 3rd floor so taking the stairs at times was a great exercise for me. Apart from 1 of 2 elevators not working the facility was clean and comfortable. The breakfast staff was helpful it was a wonderful time spent. The gym, the pool, waiting room were clean. I would surely refer others to this hotel.

Since my son moved to Orlando 8 years ago, I’ve been looking for stays during vacations dates, searching for hotels in the International Drive area near Icon Park. I have stayed at different hotels brands. For me, this has been the best hotel for the value vs price. Starting with all the front desk staff, the welcome from Daniel, the breakfast staff like Catalina and the other employees, always with a good smile and willing to help. Likewise, the Housekeeping staff is very kind. Spacious lobby area, clean carpets in the lobby and on the floors. The breakfast has more variety compared to other hotels, even up to 4 types of proteins during the stay. I recommended it.

The hotel fridge in the room was broken. The bathroom was running. There was a lot of issues in the room. The AC didn’t work. Microwave never came on all our food spoiling them many refrigerator because it was never working well and all night long we had running water.
