Located on International Drive, just north of ICON Park, the Wyndham Orlando Resort has 613 guest rooms and suites, Gatorville Restaurant and Bar, two pools, fitness center, sauna and steam rooms. The surrounding area is a walkable neighborhood, with over 50 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Guest rooms include pillow-top mattresses, ergonomic desk chairs, hi-speed Internet access, 40-inch flat-screen TVs, as well as local and long-distance call capabilities. Universal Orlando Resort (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) is located just 7 minutes away, and SeaWorld (10 minutes) and Walt Disney World (25 minutes) are within a short drive. It was good hotel just the room they put me in the people behind me had a dog and was barking all night and the light in the bathroom half worked and was barely on the wall.

Desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Awful bar. Bartender is crafty at hiding her short pours. Basically bought a $10 coke. Luckily there's a shop across the street for that. 😁 Balconies are a plus. The little lagoons are kinda cool too. Rooms are dated and dark though. A/C seemed to struggle to keep the room cool-ish. The amenity fee is a bit excessive if you're not planning on using all of them. Close proximity to food and shops. There are better options close by.
