Rosen Inn, closest to Universal

Close to volcano bay

The pictures posted on Expedia DO NOT match what you arrive to. Heads up, there’s a possibility you get placed in a smaller inn like building and not the hotel pictured. It gives very much grungy and a scene off a random inn off the side off the road - not Orlando vibes as you picture in your mind. To my amazement I did bring this to the managers attention where she actually IMMEDIATELY understood my concern and placed me within the hotel as pictured on their site and Expedia. It was much more comfy and I was willing to actually shower there. I didn’t partake in breakfast as it was $15 per adult - I just found sharing a meal with my partner at dennys was cheaper. HEADS UP - $10 per night for parking. $50 incidental fee. There is shuttle service to universal and epic. There was a little convenience store that served me well not wanting to leave the hotel late night. Very close to universal so uber rides were at most $8. Not too far away from a Walmart and Publix to grab essentials. Overall - it’s not the ritz but it is a okay place to stay. The view I had in my room was AMAZING and probably would be the reason I stay again. Oh and no balcony access.

Close to everything. Breakfast was great! Pool and area clean and beautiful. A/C was cold. Beds were soft clean and comfortable!

A bit old property, but still clean. Not tried breakfast. Noisy highway nearby. I couldn’t get any utensils from the kitchen to the room, same with some plate or something to use it in microwave.

I was disappointed in the bathroom. Very small with the sink not in the bathroom

The front staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. Buffet breakfast is a good deal if you like to eat before venturing out for the day

Location to parks in uber. Not a massive fan of international drive though seems quite run down now. Staff at front desk and breakfast area were friendly. Manager and security were helpful. Cleaning staff were extremely rude and volatile. Banging the door an hour and a half before our check out and then again several times afterwards. On one occasion my daughter was in the shower and she tried to open the door and walk in (luckily I was coming back to the room before she walked in) she slammed the door back in my face and was not allowing me back into the room and began speaking loudly in a foreign language. Very strange experience. Shower wasn’t working and toilet was clogging up. Rooms are very dated and definitely need updated. We wouldn’t return mainly because of the above but it was bearable for a short 3 nights.
