Westgate Palace Hotel / Universal / I-Drive

Got charged $200 and change for an 8 day stay for resort fees. No housekeeping in 8 days, bar closed all day every day, 2 food outlets closed by 3pm along with Starbucks so no resort facilities

Room excellent, staff good, and resort was good. Priced too high for reoccurring guests.

Everything was so nice and the view of the lake and volcano bay and the hulk coaster was great especially at night. The breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay again. Very nice staff as well. Wish they had balcony’s for your rooms or if the window could open a little bit would’ve been nice. But other than that everything was great.

I love Westgate properties. The staff is friendly, the property clean and well maintained. Tje rooms are spacious, clean and amenities are great! Quiet area. Close to the park. Five stars! Excellent! Will definitely stay here again!

This was my second time at this hotel, but I was extremely disappointed. The room smelled musty, the windows faced the air conditioning units, and worst of all, there was a bean sprout growing in the bathroom sink; my husband had to remove it so we could use the sink. I mean, how was the room cleaned and prepared if no one noticed that? It was a shame of a stay.

The hotel was very close to Universal and the room was clean. However since pets are allowed, a dog barked for hours nonstop one night and it was hard to get rest.

This Hotel was amazing. I didn't expect it to be a nice add it was. It was in heart of Orlando. Really close to the outlets and Universal. It felt like home. I had the 2 bedroom and loved it. It didn't feel small or anything. I will definitely book this hotel again for my family of 4.

Property was very clean. We stayed in tower B, very quiet. I originally picked this location because of the shuttle to Universal, however after arriving the times were not what we were looking for so we used an uber, still less than parking at Universal. We did use the cafe one morning for breakfast and coffee, and the lobby to eat at, all very clean. We also ate at Uno one night and Yardhouse another, both easy to get to. It was too hot to walk to, parking was easy, and again Uber an easy option to.

solid location and value. free parking. spartan but clean condo style 2 br, 2 ba unit. great for 4 -5 people.
