Decent for the price

Staff was amazing! So helpful, even got us into our room early. However when we walked into the building it smelled of weed and just had a stink to it. My bed pillow smelled of cigarette smoke and had ashes on the bed. We didn’t say anything just decided to go home and make the 3 hour drive. None of us wanted to get into the beds. Plus the carpet was gross feeling so we didn’t walk around without shoes on.

I truly enjoyed this place. Jessica and Becky up front were amazing. Friendly and great service. My room was clean and nice. Comfy bed and great hot water shower. A microwave would have been great but there was only a fridge. I Only had one big complaint which I did address with the manager and that was the consistent door slamming of the housekeepers. It would go on all morning very loud and hard, shaking the room. It was very disruptive and inconsiderate. They also needed a new luggage cart desperately. There was only one and it was tiny, held together with duct tape and the wheels barely rolled. Management was concerned and wrote down my complaints that they were going to address. Overall, I still liked this place very much and I will go back. Hopefully it'll be quieter next time.

Day two... beds were not made up. We did have clean towels and dry floor mat though! I have nothing but good things to say about the front desk staff. They were very kind, friendly and helpful. Because of them I would give Schmidt's Creek another chance!

A good simple no frills room, everything was clean and the value was great! Would stay here again!

I can see why this property gets higher ratings than most as it was meticulously cleaned, the air conditioner is quiet. It was a good stay.

Staff were great!!! Room was clean. My problem was they need to be clear on some things. Breakfast included and shuttle service. When I book the room they said shuttle provided but didn't say it was 25 dollars per person!!!!

This was a clean motel. Very easy to access. I was disappointed that breakfast was not served as i thought that it had been advertised.

Enjoyed our time swimming in the outdoor pool. Thanks!

We were in town for an event, and Becky at the Front Desk offered to get us on the available shuttle. The breakfast was grab-n-go, which was just fine as we had to scoot early. The room was extremely clean, the AC worked perfectly, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated that the establishment requested quiet after 10 p.m. The only challenge was no channel guide. If that's the only complaint, we would say that's a tiny, non-existent issue. We will be back!!

The pool was great. Room was sufficient. I loved that they had complimentary breakfast. Parking lot is kinda crazy because it's small and hilly but no biggie for free parking. We had a great stay.

The staff was great. When you open the room door we were smacked with a musty smell. It was so damp in the air our sheets seemed wet and so did the carpet. We were there for a concert, so one night was good.
