Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Overland Park - Convention Center by IHG

We were there for one night and got there late evening. Pool closes at 10pm. We were able to enjoy the indoor pool when we got there. We were gone well before check out. Beds were comfortable. If traveling with a toddler I would recommend taking advantage of crib or cot. The queen beds were a bit of a squeeze sharing with mom and dad. Breakfast was $12 however for membership you were given a breakfast ticket. Breakfast was hot and good.

I just makes me nervous to return, because if there are bugs, it's never just 1 room. Also, the hotel could use some soundproofing updates. You can hear every door slam, even hear toilets flushing and people doing their morning business in adjacent rooms.

The breakfast that was included with our stay. And it was easy to locate and easy in and out drive to main roads nearby. None of the toilets we used both in our room and in the main floor would flush We always had to flush it 3-4 times for the bowl to clear.

Room had all of the omnieties I appreciate and was cool and comfortable. Except that the pull out was not comfortable and once it was out there was not room to do much else. The breakfast was just like any other hotel. Mediocre. It is advertised like its a restaurant style breakfast worth paying extra to have included. It is not. And the service at breakfast was terrible. I waited until my meal was cold for any sort of drink because they have to bring them to you instead of being part of the buffet. It was certainly not anything I would pay extra for again. The bar in the hotel closes at 9pm on a weekend, which seems a little like it shouldn't be there at all. None of the staff was particularly friendly.

Got there, staff stated I didnt have reservation even after showing her my confirmation. Finally found reservation and then was not given the room I reserve, I reserved a room with 2 queen bed but instead was given one king bed with 3 adults and 1 child. Also the refrigerator leaked causing a big puddle of water on the floor

Over all the stay was good. I was a little sad there was not a continental breakfast and what they do serve they're very proud of $15 for what most hotels offer for free.

This stay was wonderful. The staff was helpful and great.

I didn't use any amenities. The room wasn't the cleanest. Dead bugs on air conditioner vent. hair in bathroom. I left within a couple of hours. friendly staff.

When checking in Mahogany was nice and helpful. Every other employee we came in contact with was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Very run of the mill hotel all in all.

Para mi estuvo bien lo único malo es que no tiene desayuno incluido tienes que pagar extra por el desayuno me e hospedado en otros que si tienen desayuno buffet pero este no así que por esa parte no me pareció la mejor decisión para un nuevo viaje

Decent place to sleep but they charge $13 pp for breakfast. Breakfast is free at most other hotels.

The hotel was older and smelled like it was older. The elevator wasn't working properly but they offered a temporary solution which required calling them to have them push the button to get the elevator to go up and pick us up. Room seemed to be pretty soundproof. The girl that checked us in was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was not included. Overall it was a place to sleep. Would not go back for more than that.
