My Place Hotel - Overland Park

A clean unit and professional staff.

Very clean room. The recliner was great for my husband. Staff was very friendly.

Great location , easy access to food , coffee , breakfast, lunch or dinner , close to great venues . Love seeing the great staff, they remember me from previous stays . Live the kitchenette , you do need to bring your own cooking items ect which I don’t mind doing . Parking is convenient and well lit . I’ll definitely be staying with My Place again 🇺🇸

Smells like dog sweat, as the most pet, friendly hotels nowadays.

The room was clean, but I rented a room to use the stove, You had to purchase items to be able to use it. The toilet was leaking, the bathtub was kind of sunk in. It’s in a nice area and easy to get around, but I wouldn’t stay here again

The property was I. A great location and clean. The only problem I encountered was the shower handle was loose and spun around instead of turning the water on.

Know that you are getting a full kitchen but no breakfast

Apparently some front desk staff are unaware that greeting guests when they enter is an industry standard

We stayed with a group for a softball tournament. We appreciated the friendly staff allowing us to use the lobby for visiting, the rooms were clean, lots of places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel does not have any ice machine. They have fridges with freezers that are supposed to make some ice if you turn it on. Ours made 8 cubes in about 6 hours. The beds were comfortable. We had to move to a different room as our initial room had a bathroom sink that was backed up. Not sure why the cleaning staff can't identify these type of issues. The hotel was right by the ballpark, which was great. It is also close to a number of places to eat and get groceries. The kitchenette area had no dishes, pans, silverware or anything that could be used to prepare any type of meal. Coffee was free near the front desk, but there was no free breakfast of any kind. They had some limited items you could purchase.

The only issue we had this time was our room smelled musty then later realized the carpet was wet. The hotel was sold out so we couldn’t change rooms.

I booked this hotel for a relative. The staff were so friendly at check-in. The room was a little dated from the pictures but fine overall for a short stay.

The staff were very helpful . The hotel was close proximity to coffee shop’s and Eatery’s . I Appreciated the full-size fridge with ice maker and kitchenette . Parking was easy to navigate. Overall very pleased with my experience.

Overall: very cost-effective. Well-maintained and in a good location
