Music across the road was loud until a little late but it worked out ok. I wouldn’t stay there I like to go to bed early. Some mildew in shower.

Everything was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, luxurious and spotlessly clean, with incredible attention to every little detail. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable, and we loved the high-quality toiletries, bath salts, robes, large soft towels, good hairdryer and even the convenient iPhone charging options. The location is perfect, right in the center of Oxford, with everything within walking distance, and parking underneath the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. For us, this is definitely a 5-star experience, not 4-star. We loved it so much that we wanted to stay two more nights, but unfortunately it was fully booked. Honestly, nothing. Our only disappointment was that the hotel was fully booked and we couldn’t extend our stay for another two nights!

Location is amazing, central to everything. Walls are paper thin and you can hear music from the velvet ditch bar across the street all night long. Dog on same floor 4 doors down barked all day and sounded like he was actually in my room. You can hear all conversations in the rooms as you walk by each door.

We were on a cross-country road trip and this place was like finding an oasis in a desert of mediocre chain hotels. Really well thought-out and well decorated. If you've ever been to a Kimpton, I would say it's quite similar in its level of luxury and design styling. The restaurant was expensive, but worth it. The room even had a mini bar, which was a god-send after a long day on the road.
