We live in a modern time where everyone is waking up to disgusting corporate practices where it’s deemed acceptable to poison the public with harmful chemicals in food and hygiene products. At this hotel, they provide Dove products for shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, these products are known to have toxic chemicals associated with sulfites and fragrances. Coffee is provided, just paper cups with microplastics lining. Breakfast: plastic spoons, forks, plates. It’s a reoccurring theme with this hotel, they have not adapted to the current market, where people care about their personal health, and family’s well being. Hotel Atwell just down the street, also by IHG, provides wooden utensils, glass cups, actual mugs for coffee. Hygiene products in bathrooms were less toxic, THIS IS WHAT THE PUBLIC WANTS. Atwell has the same parent company as Garner? THIS IS IMPORTANT, WE DONT WANT MICROPLASTICS AND TOXINS IN OUR CHILDREN AND OURSELVES, it’s that simple, do better. Thanks for providing these conveniences, but no thanks for POISONING US while providing them!

Spur of the moment overnight stay. Close to beaches, friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Will stay again sometime!

Staff was AMAZING me and my girlfriend loved them so much , everybody was super nice and would most likely stay there again when I visit her again in Florida . We stayed for 5 nights and the room was incredible and spacious.

We were very pleased with how clean our room was. We also did not feel cramped in it. It was in a nice location. It was right around the corner from the capybara encounter and zoo. We did the capybara experience, and my kids loved it. The beach was a very easy drive, and we found free parking down the street at Rick Seltzer Park. The bed was comfy, and we did not hear any noise. There is also an indoor mini golf beside that we did not get to do, but the kids really wanted to.

Buen hotel

Only complaint was the doors not closing softly. All night there were people slamming doors when they would come in and out of their rooms.

Only weird issue we had was trying to DoorDash food to the hotel? The dasher every time either cancelled our order after picking up our food, rude, or on a 2mph scooter that made our food cold by the time it got to the hotel 😅

Everything was nice but the air went out on the last day of stay and the breakfast was not good, powdered eggs and sausage everyday

For the price and 7 minutes from the beach it’s convenient, along with everything else that’s around! But you get what you pay for, No one comes to the room to change towels you have to go down to the office to change them. there was a little mold in the corner of the shower, I think the shower could’ve been cleaned better along with desks/counters. I personally think the A/C worked great but I’m also someone who has their house set to 73 year round. Breakfast wasn’t your normal continental breakfast, it’s cereal, frozen/thawed waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels etc. only the older Hispanic lady keeps it stocked and cleaned though the other kitchen people not so much. Pool was never stocked with towels. For the convenience it’s a great hotel.

We loved the stay so clean their they pull everything off the bed n replace everything new on bed . We will be going back to stay

Rooms clean, but the air conditioning did not work efficiently. Our room remained hot with lower settings. Hallway to room carpet had stains and a bad smell. Breakfast wasn’t much, we went to waffle house instead. Parking for beach access is about a mile away give or take, but very small and full each time we went. Pool and patio area is clean. Staff is very friendly.

The Hotel was very clean, staff very nice, pet friendly was awesome and we were on main floor with other doggie parents! Pool was nice with clean towels! Breakfast everyday was awesome and saved us money! Hosekeepers and front desk were very nice, including the manager! Hotel did have a washer and dryer on second floor, but we choose to go to laundry mat as didnt want use a major credit card in machines, but little snack shop did sell laundry detergent. Had a nice little workout room near the pool. One thing I will say there was no road noise nor could we hear guests above us! This is why we have not returned to alot of older hotels. Very well insulated and a/c unit worked very well to. I would stay there again! Room was very clean to with a small fridge and microwave!

The staff were very nice! Place was overall clean. And dog friendly!

Fun arcade & mini golf on property. Great location & the beach is about a mile away.
