Hilton Garden Inn Panama City

The hotel was great and friendly staff. The breakfast wasn’t complimentary.

I will share one of the things most disturbing to us was that the alarm kept going off. It went off one day earlier during our stay and then a few days later that Monday exactly at 6am. Everyone had to evacuate (with babies, individuals wheelchair bound, etc). We were left with no explanations/reasons, no discounts on future stays, no nothing. It ended up going off again maybe about an hour or two later and we were over it. I am hoping this just happened to be during that weekend and not the norm for this Hotel because that was exactly the way the staff we’re treating things around the hotel like they weren’t concerned and like it was the norm. This is the nicest way I can put it, overall it was a pretty okay stay.

Front desk staff were super friendly. Our room wasn’t clean. There were crumbs on the carpet, the only thing that was different after cleaning each day was the empty trash bins. The used towels were not changed just folded and put back in the bathroom.

Room is clean but definitely needs some love. It is starting to show its age. Door was broken to cabinet where fridge is, the mirror almost looked all rusty around the bottom where the lights were, there was barely any essentials at the little store, needed some middle of the night ibuprofen or Tylenol and they had nothing. Every hotel I stay at has stuff like that. I stay there because it's extremely close to my daughters' house when I visit but will be looking at other hotels next trip.

No Air Conditioning in the room.

The place, staff, the rooms and the service were excellent. It didn't include complimentary breakfast. There are other hotels that does include the breakfast and cheaper with the same good treatment and good rooms.

Traveled with partner for a birthday beach getaway. Room was clean. Hotel not far away from food spots and some shopping stores.

Room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say is that when it rained, the ceiling leaked and wet the floor.

Staff and location The bed was a little uncomfortable and the smell of marijuana in the hall was horrible.

Room was clean, staff was helpful and kind. Not that it weighed heavily on the trip we had hoped to had breakfast but felt it was overpriced. We inquired at check in did they offer breakfast, they said yes. Assumed it was free, it was not. Crackle Barrel and Starbucks was just 1/2 mile away. Overall it may not have saved much going to the other establishments but felt the familiarity gave them some weight. It was not a deal breaker we will stay at the Hilton Garden again.

I ate breakfast and dinner at hotel but was overcharged for both and by adding a $10 tip which was not what I placed on receipt. And I did not receive my damage deposit back
