Called Hampton in direct line 6-8 times but call did not go through. Called my daughter who lives 1 mile from property and they had trees down and no power. I have health issues and walk with walker, so I called Troy Hotel in Parsippany, They had power so I rebooked with them. HAMPTON INN/HILTON refused Expedia request for refund credit Very Unhappy Camper

When I arrived at the hotel at 1245 PM and asked if my room might be ready, the gentleman at the front desk said yes it was already clean and ready, but if I wanted to check in I'd have to pay an extra $50 for "early check in" before 4 PM. I questioned this fee since the room was already clean, if I hadn't requested that a room be ready when I arrived why would I be charged extra? He insisted this was the hotel's policy, even though I found out later that several team mates who arrived earlier and later than I did were NOT charged extra. When I questioned another front desk person about this attempted predatory charge, they just said "sorry". Also charges for parking in the hotel lot that I am paying to stay in overnight is quite ridiculous. I will definitely not be staying at this hotel again

Because the phone didn’t work, I had to go downstairs to report the problems. I waited nearly five minutes before the receptionist appeared. Instead of addressing my concerns, he mentioned he had just returned from vacation and shifted responsibility to another staff member. I found this unprofessional and disappointing. The maintenance staff didn’t arrive to fix the phone until around 9:30 a.m. the next morning, even though checkout was at noon, making the repair almost pointless. My children and I were very disappointed by the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. We expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, based on this stay, I will not be returning or recommending this hotel to others.

Weekend stay with the kids. We had a great time.

The lobby is really nice and room was very clean although it can use some serious upgrades that really didn’t bother me.. breakfast eggs and sausages were very disappointing in taste and quality and although I love Hampton INN complementary coffee always taste old like it’s been out all day. Also, please ask the kitchen staff not to stare at you the whole time you are fixing yourself plate! Would I stay again? yes I would but only if the place is very reasonable considering how horrible the breakfast was..

The elevator was out of service, I used another side elevator that was meant for Hilton hotel

Modern and clean Was put in a handicap room when my reservation never said it was a handicap room. One of the room service people tried to clean our room while we were still inside before 11am. I had to say yes we are still enjoying our room. They should have never attempted to enter if it wasn’t after 11am.

The room was clean and spacious, a bit outdated. We were not able to adjust the air conditioning, the thermostat didn't work, it was either on or off. The breakfast was good, no complaints. When we checked in the staff was cold and not very inviting, the staff after that was fine some were very helpful.

Got there just before 3pm for check in and didn’t get a room for about 40 minutes. Set us way behind on getting to the city. Also didn’t know parking was $15 til we got there. Never seen that before. Bed was comfy though.

Convenient for where I needed to go The rooms are very dated and mine had a terrible smell to it, a very musty smell that was not pleasant

Nice pool area. Only one working elevator and the hotel was full so a little slow at times. Clean breakfast area and lobby. Breakfast was good. Very convenient location for softball tournaments. Lots of food options.
