Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Property is a bit old but everything worked fine

We needed to stay an extra few nights last minute. The hotel was fine for what it was and what we needed, a place to sleep. It felt clean enough and the beds were very comfortable. The shower drained smelled bad. Front desk agent was so kind. We felt comfortable and safe. The location was good and we enjoyed the coffee shop within walking distance (fikafika). It is fine for a no thrills quick trip. I wouldn't want to stay longer then a night or two however.

We (myself +2others) stayed here for 5days. By the fourth day when we got back from the beach we discovered that the a/c was not working. We told the night staff about it and he tried to reset the machine but it did not work. We were so tired that we slept in a hot stuffy room. The next morning we went to the front desk and Tommy was super helpful! He gave us a new room immediately which was great because the room (301) was wayyy nicer than the one we were in (211). Only down part from 301 was that the neighbor was smoking or something and the smell would travel to our room but we were so exhausted that we didn’t care. We bought our own febreeze and opened the window since we were leaving the next day. I do wish we got the room we thought we originally booked with was supposed to be a two bedroom with two Queen beds but it’s okay, we made do.

The room was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good. The parking is very limited and tight. Made for small cars. The water pressure is very low so showering & flushing toilets was not good.

Staff was very helpful and the room was clean as it could be.The carpet needs to be clean and the WiFi was not that great but the overall experience was good

This place is run down and feels a little unsafe...also they promote having a pool but the pool is literally the size of a hot tub fenced in to a small space. Overall, no price value here.

I booked a two night stay and when I woke up Saturday morning, I was bitten all over my body, which led me to believe there may have been bedbugs. I also found a dead bug on the side of the bed. When I went down to the front desk to talk to the manager, Tommie, he seemed very disinterested, and there was no sense of urgency. I was told to gather my stuff at 10:25 to be relocated into another room and I wasn’t contacted again till 12 noon. Again, I’m not sure if it was bedbugs, but I definitely didn’t have any bites before going to bed the night before. I took pictures of the dead bug that was found, and the bites I had on my body. Safe to say, I will not be staying there again.

Front desk was very helpful with restaurants in the area and check in was fast and friendly. Room was big and the bathroom had a lot of space. Will be staying here again.

Nothing screams turn and walk, no run, away like being greeted by someone behind bulletin proof glass proof glass. The pictures online should be reported as false advertising. The ghetto couch in our room was probably used by Charlie Chaplin while filming silent movies. The carpet was probably there at the same time as well. The bathrooms pictured online are 4x’s bigger than the one we got. The toilet was 2” off the ground and the decor “remodel” was 1/2 assed. The door in room 406 didn’t have a full seal so the light from outside shown through all night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Ghetto tastic to put it nicely. Zero stars.

Needed a room for 1 night prior to my naturalization ceremony the following day. The room was comfortable, clean and in a good location for my needs. The beds were very comfortable. All at a very reasonable price.

Howard Johnson Wyndham Pasadena was a great place to stay. Although the property is dated, it was clean and felt safe. The location was excellent! Freeway access was easy and there were enough dining options around the property. The only problem we encountered was the lack of enough handicap parking stalls. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property.

The respect from staff and the quietness

Booked this hotel since it had a pool so my kids could swim. The pool is just a few feet deep and no longer than 7-8 ft long. You couldn’t swim if you wanted to. It’s also right in the middle of the dirty parking lot where a bunch of people were smoking, despite the “No Smoking” signs. We cancelled the reservation immediately upon pulling in and went elsewhere.

The accommodations were sufficient and price was reasonable for an overnight stay. The room floor could’ve been vacuumed better, but the bedsheets and pillows were comfortable. The shower water pressure was also good so I was happy about that. The staff was available and someone always sitting at the front desk for assistance.
