Pasadena Rose & Crown Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff!

Clean nice staff. Breakfast ok. Small dining area didn't realize our room door would be facing outside and was noisy. Our door was facing towards the road. Was more like a motel style.

The sound proofing of the floor up the third floor bother us when the guest on the third floor keeps on walking around particularly when their shoes is on. We actually requested for a room change but got denied

Clean, decent price. Morning breakfast buffet was decent, waffles, pastries, yogurt, etc. Bed was comfortable, strong hot showers. Walking distance to eateries.

There was no secure parking available. I spent nearly 20 minutes driving around trying to find a parking space, and the people around the property appeared to be loitering. Some were shirtless, and several seemed to be under the influence of drugs. Traveling with a child and our luggage, I simply did not feel it was safe to leave the car. Because of these serious safety concerns, I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel for the night. I am currently working with Expedia, and their representative is still in contact with the hotel regarding my refund request. I sincerely hope the hotel will do the right thing and issue a full refund. Guests should never be forced to choose between their safety and their reservation. I cannot recommend this property, especially for families with children.

The only downside is that because it is an older hotel, with exterior doors, we could hear insensitive people standing outside having loud conversation at 3:00am and some fellow who thought everyone should hear his 6:00am phone call. We were on the second floor near the office. I can’t fault management for others inconsiderate action, but beware.

If you don’t mind hearing every. single. thing out side the door or windows, this place is great. Walls and floors are paper thin. Breakfast was so/so. Thai place across the street was amazing!

This hotel was recently renovated, very clean, very helpful staff, they were friendly and accommodating. Location is close to the Pasadena downtown, and I highly recommend it.

The rooms were great, the breakfast was great. I got very sunburned and didn't have any body lotion, the other places before staying here did, so I was surprised this hotel didn't provide body lotion. I will pack some for the next trip. The place was well worth it and I would stay here again for sure. The kids and grandkids enjoyed the pool also.

The outside looked outdated and questionable. But the room was nice, updated, and clean. Good location and quite area. Breakfast was okay. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any issues.

It is a nice and cleaning facility, located in a quiet neighborhood.

Well located, well maintained, friendly and efficient staff. Perfectly serviceable motor hotel centrally located in Pasadena. Good value and comfortable stay.

The beds were comfy Bathrooms were sliding doors

Good location. Wifi was good. Nice pool. Easy parking. Breakfast was included. Very, very loud. People would stand outside the room talking loudly early hours of the morning while I was trying to sleep. Traffic got very loud late at night. People fighting and screaming in the carpark late at night. I didn't like the breakfast but that's just personal preference.

It was absolutely amazing and very beautiful!

The hotel is about a 8 minute drive to Old Town and a few minutes to some very good coffee shops. It is a newly renovated place. The bathrooms are nice and clean, it a very clean property. Parking onsite was easy and no extra charge. The beds and the pillows could be much better, bring your own pillow to this one. Don't stay on the second floor if noise wakes you up. The room above me, kept me awake for 2 hours, due to loud walking. The also woke me back up around 5 am. The room is small, so I don't know where these people are walking to, but you hear every step. The closing of the other room doors was also pretty loud. You could hear all doors closing the whole time. I also chose a room over looking the pool, that was the wrong choice. The pool is on the side of a very busy road - the traffic was pretty loud. The beds and the pillows could be much better, bring your own pillow to this one.

Wasn’t sure from the outside but actually the rooms are very nice, VERY clean, and the staff were all extremely friendly. Couldn’t believe there’s free hot breakfast too! What a value in a nice location
