Reviews

It is clean, comfortable, convenient, and a good value, particularly when traveling with a pet. The staff are always helpful and congenial. I rarely take advantage of the breakfast service as I have family nearby.

Lovely restful stay. Clean and comfortable.

Super clean, high quality linens, a bathtub, waffles(!) and friendly helpful staff. Next to a lovely Mexican restaurant but otherwise isolated so Uber is a must if you’re without a car. Speedy response so no complaints. Good economical choice.

The rooms were clean and newly renovated

I was extremely pleased with my stay! Everything was superb! When necessary, I will definitely stay there on my next visit.

The online reviews for this motel that already exist are perplexing to me. The reviews are so bad it almost frightened me away from staying here. What was my experience here? Firm bed, clean sheets, firmer pillows and a staff that mercifully knows how to leave a remote traveling professional worker in complete peace here. I got more work done here in 4 days than I did in 3 weeks at a dif hotel spanning 30 days! These folks here understand how to honor PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB. That matters to me as someone on Legal Webex Conferences 10 hours per day. The location is convenient to the highway & close to Casey’s, Taco Bell & Starbucks. What else do you need? The motel is generally quiet & amenable to my remote work needs with a sufficient desk & office chair - which I appreciate. For people who like TV (I do not) the in-room TV is as big as a billiards table. What more could u want from a TV, folks? I asked the gentlemen at the desk if I could have one of the free Bibles there and he offered it to me with encouragement. My room did not smell of smoke the 5 days I was there & was listed as a nonsmoking room. That’s important to me. Truth matters in travel today. Don’t make a nuisance of yourself by complaining of every minor issue & u will have an uneventful & productive (albeit short) work trip while staying here.

They used actual toilet paper that wasn't 1-ply, you may laugh at that, but I don't know how many times I have had to use double the amount to clean my self in other hotels , and my hands would break through the cheap crap. It's the little things that matter, and this place in Peoria Illinois was a refreshing stay at Super 8. I stopped using Super 8 hotels, but if my next trip, I will try the local Super 8 to see if they made improvements as well, if not, then Super 8 corporation needs to do better at their other locations There wasn't a staff on duty at the counter when I arrived or when I checked out. I had to wait for the staff to finish whatever chores he was doing before receiving my key to the room, even though I made reservations for an arrival time of 1600. I arrived at 1610. At checkout, I had to use the hotels phone system to notify them I was checking out at 0730. The person on the line told me to just leave the key at the desk. I was very uncomfortable with just leaving the key at the desk, especially since you all charge a $100 deposit for damage. Anyone could have grabbed that key and done damage in the room.

Just overall smelled and felt dirty.
-
Nothing There was a bug on my floor they gave someone a key to someone else's room the guy came to the main lobby screaming about someone coming in his room the person working said sorry like it wasn't a big deal I couldn't sleep after that
-
Nice clean rooms at a great price. Breakfast was good. Waffle maker was handy. Some choices like oatmeal or donuts would have been nice. Great stay overall
-
The rooms were very clean, and the staff was polite
-
New bathroom Breakfast was awful.
-
I paid for a hotel that I physically didn't even stay at due to issues of paying for the deposite, money was taken from my account but not received on the hotels end. Caused a huge discrepancy.
-
Management was awful! Don’t try to help or a solution to a situation & was very rude. Unacceptable & highly unrecommended
-
Easy parking Staff was rude. Booked it in a month advance. Got there and room they gave me was trashed bed sheets used bathroom was steamy and moldy smelling. Bath tub wouldn’t turn off bugs were crawling out the fridge. They switch us to another rooms which someone was already checked into with their personal belongings and everything!! Lucky no kne was in the room. Gave us our original room back but took them 2 and a half hours to clean. Worst stay every!
-
The room was clean and quiet. That's really all I care about for most stays. The area is a bit sketchy, though, so just be aware.
-
Overcharged!!
-
They are the best if I could give them a reward I would
-
Before I arrived they charged my card for the room and deposit. As I was checking in they charged my card again for a room and deposit. I've received one deposit back but not the second charge for room and deposit.
