Independence Park Hotel, BW Premier Collection

Overall it was a good experience and I would come back. The two complaints I have are the check-in. We arrived about 3:30 because a prior email indicated 3:00 check in. The attendant behind the desk told us check/in was 4:00. When it was all said and done and we indicated we just completed a 2 hour drive, He said our room was ready and we could go in. He should have said that in the first place! The other complaint was the elevator. It felt like it was going to die any minute and reported it to the desk attendant. I wasn’t too hopeful.

Wonderful stay! The staff was super nice and friendly. The room was clean, modern and updated for a historic building. The atmosphere of the hotel was great in the lobby. Breakfast was very good! Would highly recommend.

Our room was nice and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful, gave us a great suggestion for dinner. The breakfast was really good with a great variety and well maintained. The only downside was parking away from the hotel. Although not too far, it was an additional fee. That being said, it was within walking distance of most of the sites we came to see. We'd definitely stay there again.

Could not ask for better locatiin, comfort and kindness.

Great location, very clean and updated rooms

Everyone was nice, helpful, and very friendly. The hotel was really clean and the beds were very comfortable!

This was my second time staying at the hotel, and both times were great! The staff was wonderful and the area the hotel is located in, right in the heart of Old City, is just perfect!

Great location, walkable to many spots. Not noisy, low traffic. Free breakfast. Thumbs up.

Fantastic historical building that was near everything in walking distance. Staff especially helpful.

Staff was very helpful but please please please, cook your bacon a lil longer. I don’t know anyone that likes to wrap their bacon around their folk. Other than that, great breakfast!

The hotel was great! Very clean, staff kind, breakfast and snacks were good. The only issue we had was getting back to the hotel to get our luggage and check out. The parking garage is a block and a half away. We left the hotel at 10:35 am, when we exited the parking garage the police were blocking all the roads. I think for the liberty bell and constitution hall tourists. It took over and hour and a half to find a back way to get near the hotel. It would be nice if they had informed those who park that this could happen and give them an alternate route. It was very frustrating and we were an hour late for the event we made this trip for.

The property looked cleaned but had this old smell to it. Other then that good stay good location

The property is in need of an update. The carpet in the common areas appeared to need replacing or cleaning. We were among the first to have breakfast and even than the floor was not clean
