Great Staff And Location. Looking forward to return trip.

Overall, the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia was a nice, clean hotel in a great location, very close to many of Philadelphia’s major attractions. Most of the hotel staff we encountered were kind, friendly, and courteous. Unfortunately, our first impression was not good because of the valet staff. They were not friendly or welcoming at all and acted almost as if we were bothering them. Since they were the first employees we encountered when arriving at the hotel, it started our stay on a negative note. The other major disappointment was that our room was not ready when we needed it. We had plans that afternoon and ended up having to get dressed and ready in the hotel restroom because we still could not get into our room. To the hotel’s credit, they gave all three of us breakfast credit for the following morning because of the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Once we got past those issues, the hotel itself was nice, clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. Most of the staff were very pleasant. With better service from the valet staff and having the room ready on time, this would have been a much better experience.This version is fair but still makes the valet service and room delay clear.

Wonderful hotel, great location, staff and restaurant. A block from subway to get to Phillies game and Reading Terminal Market. Loved our stay!!

Clean corner room

Interior is very nicely decorated and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And location could not be better for visiting historic sites

The rooms were a little different depending on what part of the floor you stayed. The one room looked great a bit newer while the one I stayed in, which had a great view looked a bit older. My room also didn’t have a full length mirror, which would have been helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay though. Had a great time.

Location, location, location! Beautiful hotel in the epicenter of all the historic sites. Enjoyed heated the rolling of Independence Hall.

They charged me $80 extra for a valet service i never used and a water i never drank.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The hallway was very dirty as if it hadn't been vacuumed for days. There was a ladder in the hallway the three days we were there. Never moved. The food at the restaurant is ok. Most important for us was having comfy beds and a good shower, which they did.

Room was excellent. Perfect location. We arrived early and they allowed us to drop off our stuff. They texted us as soon as it was ready! They were very helpful.

Note: you will be charged $8.50 for drinking one of the water bottles in your room.

The hotel is right across from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Perfect location. Room was very roomy. Beds were comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar had yummy food at good prices. Drinks were a bit high imo but there were lots of choices if you didn’t want to go high. I would definitely go back and highly recommend the Monaco Kimpton.

The hotel is quite LGBTQ+, and the Red Owl Tavern is outrageously expensive.
