Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia by IHG

The only negative I would say is I wish the coffee service was longer as there is no coffee in the rooms. We missed the coffee by 5 minutes. When they say they put it away at 9AM, they mean it. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.

We spent our nation’s 250th birthday at the Kimpton Monaco in Philly. The hotel is beautiful and is in the perfect location for history lovers to explore where our forefathers formed our country. We loved the area and staying at the Kimpton Monaco made it even better! Our room overlooked Independence Hall and was extremely comfortable and well-appointed. However, the best part of this hotel is the staff! I have never stayed in a hotel where I felt so welcomed. They were all so kind and personable and they all went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make our stay as pleasant as possible, even when fully booked for the holiday. We can’t thank them enough…and we can’t wait to return to this special place!!!

The rooms are beautiful, quiet and very comfortable.

Fabulous location. Pipes in bathroom were extremely loud when ran the shower. Sounded like drilling in room.

Check in was combative. Felt tense and uncomfortable. I’ve stayed here many times before.

Fantastic location for touring all the historic sights! We walked everywhere and the area is safe and beautiful. Our king room was sufficient with a nice bathroom. Elevators were quick. Front desk staff great! Some one off things like garbage that hung around hallways too long. Front door valet staff is pretty disinterested and on their phones most time.

Beside my bed sheets was very dirty and was way too tired to complain but everything else was good

Staff were very kind. Room was a little small, but clean and well maintained. The location is great - it's near many museums, the Liberty Bell, and the Independence Hall. Very walkable. The restaurant downstairs has great food and drinks. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We will come back to stay if we are ever in Philly again!

Check in was seamless. We were given food and drink vouchers for the hotel restaurant. Elevator requires key access, which gave us a sense of security. The room had all the typical amenities. Shower was comfortable with good water pressure. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. We caught a red eye flight to Philly and were really thankful for a great night’s sleep. The room is very quiet. Had a very nice sit-down, restaurant-quality breakfast with the food vouchers and only owed $8 for two people. We then walked across the street to check out Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Unbeatable location. Right before checking out, we stopped by the bar and each got an artisan drink and a croissant with the drink voucher. Service was great at every turn. Definitely good CP value. Highly recommend.

Location was great to walk around historic Philly. The room was a bit small but being a older building it was comfortable.

Best location for exploring historic downtown Philadelphia. All the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The on-site sports bar/restaurant is convenient and provides a nice setting. Special acknowledgement to the outstanding espresso drinks!

We met Adam the first night and he showed us the wine cellar and the 2 event rooms they have downstairs. He introduced us to his wine manager who was very gracious and gifted us a bottle of wine we liked at their 5pm social hour the next day. The front desk was also friendly and helpful. The only minus is there’s no on site parking so it gets pretty chaotic when multiple people are at the valet desk. The great location and friendly staff are enough to keep us coming back.

The rooms were clean and updated. The staff were wonderful. The food in the restaurant was delicious. My only negative review, the rooftop lounge was not open on Sunday which did not make any sense to us, but overall this was a great hotel.
