Staff when checking in were not helpful. Rude and I paid for club access didn’t assign my keys to that or give me any information about it. We had to go back downstairs later that day to ask. Female bartender rude at night. Asked if we can get another round have us attitude “Well I don’t know what you’re drinking”. Had no clue we had to call the room service number on our cell phones to order room service. Stood there waiting for the same rude bartender to acknowledge us while she passed by us with our food to pick up. When asked if she can help us check our order “ well we have a lot of orders coming in tonight, what’s the name” wasn’t necessary and then had the audacity to ask for a tip. We came in from California and this was terrible experience our first time in Philadelphia for the amount I paid for 3 nights 1200$ down the drain. Multiple staff being this rude in such a pretty establishment. Be ashamed because we were very patient as being guests.

Great stay! Perfect location.

The staff went above and beyond from the moment we walked into the Hotel. On top of that, it truly is a beautiful place to stay. Wonderful location close proximity to historical landmarks, restaurant’s and beautifully scenery.

Are spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Great location too!!

They put me in an accessibility room and there was a bright green light that kept me up all night. The air conditioner was extremely loud and the shade was taped to the window so I had no light. I called downstairs in the middle of the night and they had no idea what the green like was.

We enjoyed our stay

Pluses: Large, clean room, pleasant staff, quiet location, reasonable room prices. Downsides: Feels a little 'cold', more appropriate for corporate meetings or events, insane valet fees (even if you're just parking your car), a dearth of towels in the bathroom, and possibly the worst television quality I've seen in a hotel in 15 years. (Can't imagine watching pay-per-view anything here.)

Excellent overall!

Great location for exploring historic Philadelphia and the waterfront. Easy walk to almost everywhere, including South Street where there are lots of cool restaurant options. Surprisingly spacious and well-equipped workout room. I kind of wish there was breakfast included, although there is a coffee spot in the lobby. Parking is expensive, but unless you are planning excursions outside the city you really don't need a car.

Through One Key Card, I had earned a free stay. Only things due were a little bit of taxes and our parking overnight. As I was checking out, the lady at the desk asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt as it was only for the parking. I said no thank you. However, I came home to find my credit card had been charged almost $300. I suppose the mix up relates to me providing a different card from my one key card, inadvertently when checking in........ really cannot tell. No response from the hotel as yet over 48 hours later although it is Sunday now. Very annoying following an otherwise wonderful visit, to now have to fight about the charges. I am a decades long Marriott rewards member having earned 10's of thousands of Marriott points over those many years........ Other than the billing snafu I trust they will come eventually to fix the stay was pleasant. We selected the hotel for location which is great for the historic parts and restaurants of Philadelphia.
