Penn's View Hotel

I am very picky about cleanliness and let me tell you…I couldn’t find one single thing out of order. We had just come from a similarly rated hotel in New York and Penn’s View was 10 times better. Very friendly staff and excellent location in historic area. Had dinner at Panorama and it was fabulous!

The man in the reception is very kind. The panorama restaurant is wonderful.

Nice place to stay.The wine bar maybe the best part of it.

The hotel room is on the outside of the building and you have to have a skeleton key to get in. There are homeless people under the overpass, which is also right outside the door to the room. The inside lobby and “restaurant “looks like a ghost town. Great place for a horror film.

Loved this hotel! Great food, nice staff, lots of character in the building itself! The only thing I missed was having a coffee pot in the room. I’m an early riser, and like to get up and have a cup of coffee as soon as my feet hit the floor. We did have the muffins and coffee in the lobby, and the muffins were delicious.

This is one of my favorite places to stay, In my opinion I think there should be more soap or body wash in the rooms at all times. Excellent stay :)

I haven't been to all the bed and breakfast is in Philly.Because I live here. This place is perfect spotless. Antonio runs a tight ship that's fun to be in. Every person there through all the shifts that i've ever been there is awesome. But I still want them to bring back the hot breakfast in the back dining room that lines up with the front door like it used to be before the pandemic. The prices right said bob barker.

Building is very nostalgic, history in this hotel. Beautiful inside and out. I have a problem with the cleanliness of the room, the room was described you have a balcony (there was no balcony), also there was no lock on the door leading on the ledge (I had to prop a chair on the door for the lock), outlets did not work either, and the floor was not clean.

Staff were amazing. Especially Antonio at the front desk. He took time to brew fresh coffee for me in the morning and took extra time helping my traveling companion mail a package.

Convenient parking in lot right next door - we’d need concerned about the parking but all worked out fine Nice room Slow check in Noisy bedroom- poor seal on window so sound came through more than it should have done.
