Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District

We liked using the rooftop pool. Our room was adequate for 3 and clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The Staff was very accommodating when we asked to have flight boarding passes printed, store luggage after check out and assisted us with calling a taxi. We would stay there again.

With the Wyndham located within Old City, the location is the biggest draw. It's a short walking distance to all the major historical sites and museums in the area. The facility itself could use an upgrade - the room was spacious enough and the beds were pretty comfortable, but the toilet was very loud and the shower was a bit fussy with hot water. During our four-night stay, we experienced two false fire alarms and had to evacuate once. Thankfully, the fire department is right across the street, so it was resolved quickly. One pro is the free water filler in the lobby; one con was the terrible wi-fi in our room that kept cutting out. Lastly, I do have to thank the staff for finding my daughter's necklace, which she had accidentally left behind in the room when we were checking out. We came back a couple hours later, and the manager was able to retrieve it for us. Overall, it was a decent stay in a great location.

The staff was extra friendly, they got us into our room an hour early. The property was clean, very convenient. Located in downtown, the only thing I would say is beware.That there is a forty five dollar parking fee.They don't have their own parking lot, and you must use the public garage which is actually on-site... This is generally what you deal with with a hotel in a city. However, it wasn't listed online this way.

The hotel location is extremely ideal. Walking distance to major historical sites such as the liberty bell. Quiet location. Loved it! Helpful staff.

Hotel was very convenient to all historical sites. Easy walk to Liberty Bell and Ind Hall. Rooms are clean, but shabby. Bathtub was badly chipped in many places and tile was not clean. Shabby chair in room and old furniture. Staff was helpful. Beware of $40 per night parking charge. Very loud streets surround the hotel. Lots of traffic noise making it hard to sleep.

Right in the heart of downtown

Nice hotel, nice area and bed was comfortable and clean. The reason for 4 stars is the carpeting in the rooms need to be replaced or updated flooring needs to be installed. They were stained and old, however, I would stay again.

The food was awful and overpriced

Perfect hotel to walk to historical locations. Highly recommend staying here for the history buffs.

The room was clean enough and it was a no thrills experience. The night manager was sort of cranky, but other than that our stay was fine.

This hotel needs a major refreshing. The beds and pillows were horrible, wallpaper, peeling in the bathroom and two of the plugs weren’t working to charge our electronics. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful and helping us plan our afternoon.

Hotel is located in very good area. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms could use some touch up. Bathroom is outdated, AC is outdated.
