Howard Johnson by Wyndham Phoenix Airport/Downtown Area

The funny middle easternride but cuteish guy at the front desk They refused to let me call the room at the front desk or police at front area

Passable

Great value for long term parking.

Great location, walking distance from the SkyTrain station. Buses stop nearby just in case you don't have a car. Clean, inexpensive.

Bad

The price was fine but also attracted a level of clientele that reflected the price... The neighbors were partying all night. People in the parking lot who I wouldn't consider people I would want in the parking lot of the place I'm sleeping at.

In the confirmation email from the hotel, free light breakfast was listed, upon checkin I found out that is not something offered which was unexpected. There is free coffee and an ice machine!

They were very nice and helpful The ac in the room was hot

Exceptional

Perfect room at inexpensive price

It was old and needed some upgrades.

No

I was relocated to this hotel and would just like a refund from Expedia. I can’t believe the events that occurred 8/4/2026. I have since been using a different company and hope no other person has to go through the experience I had with Expedia!

Everything Everything

The room had a lack of climate control and was close to 90* inside. When we requested to change rooms, the staff said the other rooms were even hotter. No apologies no offer for a refund. Room was dirty and customer service was awful. Requested a refund

the room was not clean at all. and that is an understatement. there were ants all over the place. the tub was dirty. i just got the crappy room; I should have told staff, but was to tired to deal with it

I love the area east phoenix is beautiful. When I arrived it was getting late I was trying to figure out how to get in because doors were locked.there was a lady watering a bush out side well she had watched me try to get in and said nothing. Turns out she was running the show.after dealing with this unpleasant woman I decided to go somewhere else.As I was leaving I was proposition by a prostitute..So i would not recommend vmthis place to anyone e unless hookers and drugs our on ur thing.
