I asked the front desk to extend my stay by another day. She told me it couldn’t be done. That was the day I checked in. The next morning went down to that desk and asked the girl if I could extend it by another day. Yes, she was very happy to do it for me. Why couldn’t the girl when I checked in couldn’t do it.

Great overall stay. Property is in a good walking range for most of the attractions. Staff was great, especially Lauren. Make sure to say hi to her.

We stay at Black Fox Lodge about 6 times a year. The location is good for the places we want to go. There is a nice trail behind the hotel that follows along the creek. Only negative for us is the worn-out mattresses.

Very clean place. Really great location, near everything you would want to do. Staff was awesome.

Room sizes were great with bonus balcony
-
The room was very spacious. Parking was on site and a short walk to the lobby.

Staff at the front desk were SUPER friendly. Maddy who cleaned the public areas was a ray of sunshine and was smiling and cheerful every time we saw her.
-
Beautiful hotel, kids loved the pool. I enjoyed the seating area outside.
-
Clean and well maintained. Paying an extra $9.50 per person for continental breakfast which is free at most places.
-
Nice water slide for the kids, outdoor snacks and bar. The hotel had a beautiful interior and we had a clean room with a cozy balcony we sat on to watch the rain. The only thing off putting was that you had to pay for breakfast and we didn’t appreciate being asked about a time share twice after declining the first time. Other than that the staff was very nice and we enjoyed our stay overall.

We loved our stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. We were able to do early check-in. Would definitely stay there again.

Rooms with balconies very relaxing

The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The only thing the pool had a lot of hair in it. It was pretty gross.
-
Little pricey
-
The rooms and facilities were clean. This is the only plus I can offer. The 2 nights we spent at the Black Fox was way too expensive! The mattresses on the beds were way too hard. Sleeping was difficult due to the hard mattresses. We would have stayed an extra night but the price I paid and the hard mattresses were a turn off. We won’t be back.

Room had musky odor. The pool water looked dingy. Room over priced for our stay.
