Lodge at Mill Creek

I do like that our room was newer. They are remodeling and it's gonna look great when they are done. We arrived late Thursday night/Friday morning and stayed until Sunday. No one came and cleaned our room not one time. Also the coke machine wasn't working. Other than that we had no trouble.

Very clean, almost new looking. Comfortable and clean. Very good value for money. Very friendly staff. It was just a few hundred feet off the strip. Not a fault. Just location. But this hotel is so nice and so reasonable priced, being a few feet off the strip dont bother me.

I really enjoyed how spacious and modern everything looked....it was close to alot of attractions in Pigeon Forge.....the staff was so helpful letting us check in over the phone since we would be arriving 40 minutes passed the lobby closing....it was smooth and they set the room up for us so we could just set down our stuff and hit the hay I could tell they were a newer, freshly opened hotel...they were still smoothing out the kinks of later check ins and finding 3rd shift staff....the rooms were just a tad dusty but I chalk that up to being newly built....the only big issue I had was parking on the back row...the spots are tight and on an incline which made them a bit hard to maneuver especially at night

We're on the third floor the elevator did not work, the main parking was along the back street which was busy went from parking spot to being in the road no room to see. Also it is not the place shown on the info some pictures are from a different location not the place on the back side of that road.

The property has clearly been renovated recently, and you can tell they’ve invested a lot of money into the rooms. The new beds were comfortable, the lighting was excellent, and I appreciated the white bedding because it made it easy to see that everything was clean and there were no signs of bed bugs. I also liked the hard flooring instead of carpet since it feels much cleaner overall. That said, the finishing work could use some attention. There were paint drips left on the floor throughout the room, and the floors didn’t appear to have been mopped after the renovations. My feet were noticeably dirty after walking around barefoot. I think a thorough cleaning would make a huge difference because the renovations themselves look nice. A few other observations: * ? Parking was the biggest downside. When I returned around 11 p.m. and midnight, there were very few spaces available. Construction next door may be contributing to the problem. * ? My room was missing a shower curtain when I checked in, but the front desk quickly provided one, and it was easy to install. * ? The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There was even an employee available around 1 a.m., which was reassuring since I had seen older reviews suggesting there wasn’t overnight staff. * ? Be careful with the shower—the hot water gets extremely hot, enough that it could easily burn someone if the handle is turned all the way. * ? This is a basic motel, so don’t expect extras like a hair dryer, iron, or a “Do Not Disturb” sign. The towels were clean and perfectly adequate. * ? The refrigerator and room phone looked much older than everything else. The refrigerator felt a bit grimy, and the phone honestly looked like it should be replaced.

Mattresse was thin

After reading so many negative reviews, I honestly was not sure what to expect. When I arrived, the outside of the building was not fancy, and I admit I felt a little nervous at first. At check-in, I asked if a renovated room was available, only to learn that all of the available rooms had already been renovated, which immediately made me feel more comfortable. The receptionist also explained that they own both buildings next door, and those are currently being renovated as well. The parking lot is a little tight, but that seemed to be due to the ongoing renovations next door. My room had one king-size bed, and I found it very comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. The only issue we had was that the TV did not work, but the staff quickly offered to move us to another room or provide a credit. We chose the credit, and they even asked, “Is that enough?” which was truly unexpected and appreciated. Overall, I had a much better experience than I expected, and I would definitely stay here again. The parking lot needs to be repaved, but they are currently renovating their buildings so I am sure this will come.

The outside does look sketchy but the rooms were very clean and updated Pool was pretty small and not a whole lot of parking
