Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Pineville

Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. Room was never cleaned while I was there. I had put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door so I wouldn't be woken up early but removed it when I left before noon.

Our room was small. but ok. We left for the day and when we returned, the room had not been cleaned. We went to the front desk and the manager was indifferent. We were provided with clean towels and coffee. There was also a lot of door slamming during our stay. We were given an adjoining room, which was not needed. Our last morning was disturbed at 6 am by a next door neighbor who was having a conversation on the phone. He was quite loud.

I was traveling for a family funeral and

Very comfortable beds. Everyone was friendly and excellent breakfast My room was missing an iron and landline phone

Property was being renovated and a little messy. The key system was down upon arrival and we could not get a room key for several hours. Pool could not be used due to being cleaned. Breakfast area was not cleaned up during breakfast hours so food was all over chairs and tables. Staff at the desk were helpful but could only do what was in their control. Our first room had a wet fabric couch. They were able to move us to another 1 bedroom suite thankfully!

We checked in around 10pm and found out our room (with 3 queen beds and a pull out couch) had been sold out from under us. We ended up in a room with 2 queen beds and had to try to squeeze a trundle bed in the room which was nearly im possible. Im divorced so I was on the trundle bed at my ex husbands feel talk about awkward. If it wasn't so late and we hadn't been soaked to the bone we would have just drove the 3hrs home. Breakfast was fine. Nothing to drink but coffee and milk. Im allergic to milk and hate coffee. Also the bathroom door was wierd and gave no privacy. I've never seen a bathroom door like that before. Also the shelf in the bathroom in front of the door wouldn't stay pushed in so everyone hit their leg walking into the bathroom. Mandy made the best out of a bad situation that she could as the receptionist but I don't know if we'll be back. The place was clean. It was all just really inconvenient.

Everything at the hotel was fine, but I was assigned room 340, and around 1 a.m., the people next door started smoking—even though I had requested a non-smoking room. I couldn't sleep, so I went down at 3 a.m. to ask to change rooms. I always travel with my family, so I had to wake them up at that hour. It’s not right. Thanks.

The location is so close to everything you might need or want

The gentleman in the suit at the front desk was very nice The outside overflowing trash, smell in the elevators of smoke. I think people live at this hotel. I took my dog outside to use the restroom and a man came outside and was following us till my dog spooked him and went another direction I wouldn't recommend this location

Breakfast was not stocked well and the property seems to attract misbehaving customers.

Customer service/hospitality Fridge placement backwards. First room had plumbing issue. No microwave in room.
