Dolphin Cove Motel

We stay every year there I love that it is so close to the beach,rooms are always clean staff is always friendly

This is an older property but excellent location to shops and to pier. Very clean excellent views of ocean from room. Planning to diffidently visiting here again.

The hotel was very accessible to the beach walking distance. Nice view and clean room

Loved this place. Location great. Parking limited but ok if you have one car. Its private parking so that was great. Staff very helpful and accommodating

The only other feedback that I have is that the hotel can be more mindful about room assignment. At checkin, I asked for a room on the second floor. I told the lady at the front desk, yes I know but I have a reservation and if there is a room available upstairs, I would prefer this. She just stared at me and said, no vacancy and gave me my keys to room #7. At 10pm the room upstairs, #10, with the exact same layout, arrived. Two adults and three kids under five. They jumped and bounced and everything else as they unpacked. The next morning, they woke up early and someone walked back and forth for an hour. It sounded like heels, but we were at the beach so why would someone have heels on? Then I see later that morning, the mom had on cowboy boots and must have been walking back and forth between the bathroom and room to get ready. Please have some common sense when you're on the second floor of an old motel with little insulation.

The room was clean but I did get bit from bedbugs . staff was kool didn’t really talk to them beach was awesome. And for the parking was excellent other then the bedbugs bits it was good

This property is located one step from the beach, has a free parking.Stuff very friendly and helpful. I will come next year with my family.

Yes, hotel was perfect, great location very comfy beds! Only thing that I was not aware of is not every room has AC. When we arrived, it was very warm but did cool down very quickly as the sunset. Not a big deal, just adding to the review for awareness for others. If this is a big deal, call ahead and check that the room you have reserved has one of their portable ACs. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

Michael was so helpful and friendly. You can’t beat the location and price. Rooms are small but beds comfortable and all our time was spent at the beach. walking distance to restaurants shopping etc. Thanks great team there

Location ,location ,location . Great property every room has a view . Suprisingly quiet . Only negative was my purple picture television . Will definitly stay again when in the neighborhood .

The room was nice and the staff was helpful. The view was good. I would recommend getting the second floor so the view could be better I had room Number 7. The rooms were pretty clean just a little dust on the ac unit and back of the tv and the floors could have been mopped better. The only thing I didn’t like was when people would walk by they could see right in your room. Other then that me and my family were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was clean, quilts were soft, nice to have parking and be able to walk to beach- owner very kind- let us keep car in lot a while after checkout to enjoy beach- daughter missed having a full length mirror.

This is a Pismo Beach treasure. It’s a motel and it has all the funk of a Motel but it’s super cool, very reasonable and you can’t ask for a better location. It’s right on that Pacific. I will return every time I go to Pismo area.
