quaint elevator nearly 100 years old and lovely lobby and courtyard room was very small and no furnishings. very basic

The location is great, it's walkable to everything and easily accessible. The lobby is a peaceful little oasis off the busy main street. And the woman Tammy who checked us in was exceptional. There are small charms due to the age of the building but I'm not sure they are enough to carry the weight of some downfalls. The room was small - expected for an older building. But it was also very hot with no A/C (fans only). The bathroom was an awkward layout and the shower backed up quickly with a head that sprayed everywhere. The toilet ran, the bed was extremely loud and lumpy, and the old fashioned key was a bit of a struggle in the lock. And blinds on the window don't block out all light.

Historic, beautiful building. Clean nicely furnished room. Great staff. Loved the old fashioned elevator! All really great!

Jacuzzi bath Sofa was not comfortable and bed was too noisy when getting in or out of bed.

It was a fine stay. We had a nice room with big windows. It was a labyrinth to find the room.

Unable to child proof door lock from inside. My child was so exhausted that she sleep walked right out of the room while I was asleep!!

Loved the proximity to everything! It was so close to the beach. Loved the antique charm of the room we were in and the old elevator was awesome. The room was very clean, would have liked to have a couple more pillows and yes, we could have asked for them but we were only staying one night. Not a big deal. No refrigerator or microwave in the room and for someone with celiac disease who brings most of their own food even on vacation that was a little inconvenient.
