Beautiful facility with lots of history. However, our sleep was interrupted throughout the night by noisy wedding venue guests.

Big, clean, beautiful room! Staff was super friendly! Will be back.

Kathy made the best morning muffins. Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Love the kitchen. The wall and ceiling tile are original and gorgeous blue and green. Architecturally, a well preserved monastery. Exceptionally clean. Monk bar small, quirky, fun. Seasonal drinks a nice touch. The bartender was high end professional, comfortably social. Trinity was helpful with checking in. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Public housing is nearby but no biggie. Safe neighborhood. Friendly police presence noted. Not a walk about at night. Parking across the street. A clerk was not available to show us the attached church, used as an event venue. There was a wedding in the pretty courtyard. Highly recommend.

A truly excellent hotel with an amazing history. The Priory was so beautifully restored with attention to every small detail. The common areas and the room were top notch. Upon entering we noticed all the trim work, historic staircase and obvious love that had gone into the transformation of this building. All the way down to the carpet which was noticeably a higher quality than any hotel. The front staff were very professional and friendly. Our room was super comfortable and true to online photos. We were going to a Pirates game at PNC Park so the location was very convenient but even better was the free shuttle they provided to and from the game! They also provided free shuttle for guests going anywhere in the city, dinner, theatre etc. Across the street free parking was also included! Monk Bar was very popular and super busy upon our return from the game (bar is tiny but quaint) but we were able to take a drink to our room. The box breakfast they provided was also really good quality. I’ve never had a box breakfast as good! The ham in the croissant sandwich was delicious and all was included in the extremely reasonable room price! This was our first time in Pittsburgh so we were a bit concerned about a location to select to stay based on some reviews, however we felt perfectly safe and this hotel sure does take care of its guests which is rare. I highly recommend this hotel, it checked all the boxes and then some!

We enjoyed our stay. We liked the unique charm of the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood, helpful staff and enjoyed breakfast! Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, great room, great breakfast, great to have parking included and we like the little bar! The area was a bit sketchy.

A beautifully restored building. Convenient free parking. We were in town for a baseball game. They offered a free shuttle to and from the stadium. The room was clean and comfortable. Bath towels were thick. Bathrobes available. Complimentary breakfast was personalized. We ordered our breakfast the evening before and it was ready at the time we chose. The price was less than the corporate hotels close to the ballpark. The staff was courteous and helpful. This is a hidden gem. We will definitely stay here again.

If you looking for a relaxed accommodations with some great history this is the spot.

The Priory exceeded our expectations. Loved the location and parking inclusion. The convenience of parking made our experience perfect for attending baseball games at PNC park. The room was beautiful and breakfast was tasty. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the Priory. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom as well as the comfort of the beds. We both slept AMAZINGLY. All of the staff were super kind and helpful as well. There were not many options for a vegetarian/ dairy free breakfast (I just ended up with a single plain fried egg), but the staff seemed to have limited control over the breakfast and tried their best to help accommodate. Either way, breakfast aside I’d love to stay here again.

The only reason I gave this hotel less than 5 stars was the neighborhood. An Uber driver dropped me off and recommended I not walk anywhere at night. No one bothered me, but I agreed. The young men hanging out across the street at night made me think more actively about my surroundings.

Max at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, we had booked online just minutes before arriving and he told me he was working on our keys and checking when I walked in.
