My family and I went to visit my daughter, and son-in-law who had just had our first grandson. We wanted a hotel close to where she lived. Initially we thought it was too far and called Expedia to try to change hotels, but were unsuccessful. It turned out to be the best thing because the location was only 15minutes from my daughter's house and well located for other reasons. We felt badly having requested the change without giving the location a chance. The staff was always so courteous and accommodating. Our reservation was for 7 nights, with two extra because we had the misfortune of having our return flight canceled. We were able to book the same room for two more nights. Brigid at the front desk made sure to accommodate us knowing our situation. The breakfast served every morning was wonderful. The breakfast staff during the week made sure everything was well stocked. It slacked just a little on the weekend, but still good. The only complaint we have is that twice our room was not cleaned. When the front desk was advised of this, they apologized and made sure we got clean towels right away. We're not sure why that happened. The parking was never a problem. All in all, it was a very nice stay and when we return to visit our daughter, son-in-law, and now our beautiful grandson, we will be booking a room at Holiday Inn Express Princeton Southeast. Thank you so very much!

Clean and newly refreshed. In room 201 you could tell bathroom Reno was rushed and not top quality. Bed was squishy. Room was very clean and shower pressure was good and water hot. I only rated higher because room was so clean. Breakfast was horrible cold and poorly maintained. There were no tests for tongs and chafing dishes left propped open with tongs explaining why everything was cold. Ketchup is served in large open uncovered bowl with a spoon. Not hygienic and food was horrible quality. I felt sick when saw some l else sneezing and coughing over uncovered ketchup bowl. The pool is not in holiday inn Express it was in the adjacent hotel that was at least a 1/4 mile walk from room only to find out my room Keely didn't work for pool access. The room was immaculately clean but bed was feeling old and squishy. Room 201

This property overall is a nice hotel. The staff at the front desk are fantastic. However, there is much room for improvement with the maintenance. There were issues with the door to the room, not closing very easily. There was a time when we came back to the room, discovering that the door was open, most likely because housekeeping didn’t realize it didn’t close on its own. The engineer did take a look at the door and temporarily fix it while waiting for the part. It would’ve been nice to have access to the hot tub which has been closed since Covid. I don’t see any issue with resuming operations as the regular pool is open.

Hotel room was spacious but not clean. As evidenced by the mozzarella stick and marinara sauce lid we found on top of the microwave; unclear how long it was there for but definitely long enough to be rock hard. After the room was cleaned, the coffee pods were not replenished either. The bathroom door was could not be opened and closed without coming ridiculously close to the toilet. The fan in the bathroom was also insanely loud. For such a spacious room, you'd think that someone would've thought out the bathroom configuration a bit more. We had no trouble accessing the gym at Crowne Plaza but could not get into the pool area. We went to the front desk of the Crown Plaza for assistance whereupon we learned that when we checked in, the Holiday Inn Express staff was supposed to give us an additional keycard for it. It was also quite a long walk to/from the gym and pool at the Crowne Plaza. We noticed a GIANT spiderweb w/ a spider on a light just outside the doors from the Holiday Inn into the hallway. Overall, a mediocre experience. Would not come back again

Breakfast the coffee machines one was always empty. Napkins may or may not be found. You had to be early for yogurt, chocolate milk, and eggs. The display for hot food didn't always match what was offered. Waste areas were full.

In spite of their being no facecloths in my room, this was still an excellent place to stay. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but I’ve seen worse. The coffee was from a machine that “brews” it…it was pretty bad. But overall it was clean and cozy, would stay here again!

Needs some updating but good for what we needed. If you need a place for a night it’s good

Beautiful grounds.

Although the rooms were smaller than I expected… they were clean and comfortable.
-
The breakfast as the hotel ran out of food.
-
It was clean and quiet
-
In all, it was very disappointing, not cheap, and a disclaimer should be put up about the current condition so people are not surprised when they arrive. I would look anywhere else in the area to stay.

Our stay was great. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We had a clean, bright room, and the housekeeping staff was very thorough. Will definitely stay again.

it was available for a late reservation When I went to the hotel, they rerouted me to the Crown Plaza, which was close, so I will say my answers to your questions can not be answered truthfully. I am happy to have received a room, but I don't understand why I had to go to one hotel and then was told to go to another when I could have received that information with the reservation confirmation.

The shower had a very short shower curtain causing the bathroom floor to get wet.

Breakfast: what was supposed to be hot was absolutely cold Garbage near main entrance and from open terrace was not taken away for a couple of days We checked in on Friday There was a lot of crumbles in the hallway. We checked out Monday-it was still there Pillowcase was too small and half of the pillow did not fit. For this price plates could be not paper and cutlery not plastic
