Homewood Suites by Hilton Princeton

Next morning both elevators were broke and we were on the third floor. My friend has asthma heart and BP issues and had to use inhaler after climbing down the 3 flights. I hurt my back bringing the bags down. I asked for compensation for difference in price between the room I ordered ( king suite) and what I got (studio suite), the answer was no nor did they offer anything for violating ADA requirements with broken elevators or lack of enough air conditioning to be comfortable on a hot night. The next day when I called to ask for compensation, I was told that they were in the middle of fore alarm issue. There appears to be serious maintenance issues with this hotel. The staff was apologetic and tried their best to help but manager refuses to deal with anything

We had to move to another room the second night, as the toilet was not functioning when we moved in. The staff was great, but didn’t have a comparable room for us until the next day. Staff was great!

The property is poorly managed. I wasn't provided with room cleaning service for 3 days! Didn't expect this for such high room price!

First of all, the cleanliness was terrible. As soon as I entered the room, there was a very strong, unpleasant smell. I told the front desk, and they said they would deodorize the room since they didn’t have another room available, but no one ever came. The towels had stains, dishes weren’t wash properly, and when we requested clean towels, they never arrived. We also asked for extra blankets, and it took multiple phone calls before someone finally brought one. We still never received the clean towels. The swimming pool is extremely small, don’t let the pictures fool you because they definitely fooled us. It also became overcrowded with people playing volley ball and football (inside the pool) making it impossible to enjoy. On top of that, the pool was dirty. There was no air conditioning throughout the hotel. It was extremely hot, and the elevators and hallways had unpleasant smells. The hotel also didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t worth it. There was very little variety, and the food wasn’t good. The fire alarm went off, and hardly anyone evacuated. I called the front desk to find out if it was just a drill, but no one answered. When I finally went downstairs, the front desk staff were standing around in the lobby but hadn’t bothered to answer the phone or provide any information. It was very frustrating and concerning, especially during what could have been an emergency.

The room was not up to the mark.There was someone sock lying near the window. The commode was wobbly. The breakfast was not at all good. The fruits were not fresh, the scrambled egg were soggy. The location is nice.

Staff is very nice and us to change the room.

We stayed in a suite. It was a great setup for a family of 5. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options.

Very modern and clean! I was very surprised of how spacious was my room. Excellent place to stay!

I made my reservation the same day and everything was all set when we arrived. Clean rooms at a great price!

Built-in kitchen in the room, and creative internal furniture such as sofa, lamps, etc. Too far from main campus, and I walked 50min to a working location and back. Not much restaurants or supermarkets around.
