Homewood Suites by Hilton Princeton

Great stay! Good breakfast. Good location

Recently refurbished so room felt fresh. Disappointed at all the disposable and single-use breakfast items. Had expected that a chain like this would be doing its bit for the planet (plus providing more jobs for locals) with reusable crockery, cutlery etc.

A very pleasant stay. Clean and comfortable, helpful staff, breakfast with variety, 10 min drive to Princeton University. Hope to come back soon.

The hotel was quiet, and the staff were very friendly and professional. We also appreciated their flexibility when we requested a slightly later checkout. Breakfast was clean and enjoyable, although near closing time the trash bins were quite full and there were very few bananas or other fruits left. A couple of things could be improved. When we turned on the heat, there was a noticeable smoky or exhaust-like smell, so the heating unit may need to be checked. Also, although the room has a kitchen, there were no cookware, utensils, or basic kitchen supplies. Since having a usable kitchen is one of the main reasons we choose this type of hotel, it would be helpful to provide basic items or clearly advise guests what they need to bring. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would consider returning. Since we expect to stay in Princeton on weekends throughout the 2026–2027 swim season, we would also be interested in a recurring weekend arrangement if the hotel offers a discounted rate for regular stays.

There is only one restaurant nearby and breakfast is limited (fruit & pastry). The place needs updating but it has basics. The staff were helpful and quick to respond. This property should not be listed as 8.

Really friendly staff. Freshly renovated. And everything was just as pictured online. There's nothing that we missed.

The carpet was stained and the towel hanger was broken. However, the place was very clean.

The shower had not been cleaned, as there was hair all over in it. The vent was broken and making a very loud noise that kept me up at night and I asked maintenance to fix it on the first day of my stay and every day after, but maintenance never came. I was also traveling for business and there was an ironing board but it took asking for 3 days to get an iron. Front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. This stay was nothing like my usual great experiences at other Homewood Suites locations.

This is small thing but the small bar of soap for the bathroom sink didn't have a soap dish.

A quick pre-birthday getaway. The room was spacious, loved the set up. The one thing I did not like was that the reception was horrible.
