Convenient to western suburbs. Hotel was ok, staff were not overly inviting. Stayed because we used to celebrate anniversaries at Creek side restaurant. Doors were hard to open. Needed to change rooms.
-
Property really is in great shape. Need some work on the evening dinners maybe slow season when I was here. Staff is awesome!

The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast in the morning is very unbelievable. The one thing I think needs to be done. Is they’re pool area needs to be painted Yeah Paint peeling looks like they’ve tried, but I know how the humidity an chlorine really eats way the paint very friendly staff always feel welcome when we stay there.

Right off the bat, the parking garage is a distance from most rooms, especially if your at the opposite end of the building as we were. The door to our room practically needed a swat team battering ram to get it to open. Then the bathtub drain was very very very slow to drain. Maintenance to the building is visibly lacking. The the evening desk attendant was very unhelpful. The morning desk attendant was very pleasant and wish the evening one would take lessons from the morning one.

This hotel is huge and well used. Our room was ok but seriously dirty carpet is such a turn off. We appreciated the little bar and restaurant. The grounds are well kept. Staff were helpful.

I love the architecture, the feeling of openness, and the furnishings.

It was a great stay! Clean room, very nice pool.

Our room was musty smelling and the toilet wiggled. We moved rooms due to the neighbors smoking pot. The second room smelled better and the toilet was fine. The door would not open unless you wiggled the hands and pulled up. The shower would not drain.

I liked that the property was surrounded by wetlands and trees everywhere. I also liked that there were walking trails that circled the property. The building is unique and had a definite haunted vibe. I loved our server at the breakfast cafe in the morning she was awesome! I didn't like that there was not a microwave in the room I had to request one to get one, however the front desk person brought it to me at the end of his shift. I didn't like that there was a random sunflower seed shell on the floor between our 2 beds. I didn't like the moldy windows in the hallway down from the lobby, peeling paint in the pool area, and the sauna in the womens locker room was really shabby and all the wood rotted so there was not really a safe place to sit down. It seems rundown in a lot of ways, but nice in other ways.

Breakfast on Sunday the one waitress little rude. About where we sat other than that it’s a great motel to stay in two TVs didn’t work in our room due to the last guest messing with them and screwing them up.

Great stay

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The property used to be well-kept, but now it feels very outdated. I changed my entire travel route from Canada to Texas specifically to visit this hotel again for the Sunday brunch, which was included in my booking last year. Finding out now that it is no longer included is a huge letdown. For $185 a night, the room feels old with just a view of treetops, which feels like a 2-star hotel standard. Furthermore, the front desk staff was very unpleasant and unprofessional—they didn't even inform me about the damage deposit fee, they just put the total amount upfront without any explanation. The beds were worn out and had a sag in the middle that you'd fall into during the night. Also, the coffee machine and the TV remote didn't work. There are much cheaper options with better service, and I will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

This property needs a room upgrade. Room smelled damp. Carpet worn.

Superb
-
The property was pleasant and comfortable.
-
No breakfast with the room. Not very big area in the room.
-
many things to do Very hot in the room. AC wasn’t working, when it was 90 out
-
Hotel air was inop on a 100 degree day. Also wallas are paper thin and you can hear everything.
-
Our only complaint was with the pillows which were way too overstuffed and left us both either neck aches
-
The property was beautiful and well landscaped! The hotel itself was laid out very well with spaciousness and brightness! Our only problem was the air conditioner wasn’t working very well, but still cool enough. We will definitely stay there again!!
