Great stay

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The property used to be well-kept, but now it feels very outdated. I changed my entire travel route from Canada to Texas specifically to visit this hotel again for the Sunday brunch, which was included in my booking last year. Finding out now that it is no longer included is a huge letdown. For $185 a night, the room feels old with just a view of treetops, which feels like a 2-star hotel standard. Furthermore, the front desk staff was very unpleasant and unprofessional—they didn't even inform me about the damage deposit fee, they just put the total amount upfront without any explanation. The beds were worn out and had a sag in the middle that you'd fall into during the night. Also, the coffee machine and the TV remote didn't work. There are much cheaper options with better service, and I will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

This property needs a room upgrade. Room smelled damp. Carpet worn.
-
The property was pleasant and comfortable.
-
No breakfast with the room. Not very big area in the room.
-
many things to do Very hot in the room. AC wasn’t working, when it was 90 out
-
Hotel air was inop on a 100 degree day. Also wallas are paper thin and you can hear everything.
-
Our only complaint was with the pillows which were way too overstuffed and left us both either neck aches
-
The property was beautiful and well landscaped! The hotel itself was laid out very well with spaciousness and brightness! Our only problem was the air conditioner wasn’t working very well, but still cool enough. We will definitely stay there again!!

Room was okay; comfortable bed, small fridge, no microwave. No laundry room though. Connected to an athletic club for pool and hot tub access. If you have guests over to swim they have to pay the athletic club fee. Parking is adjacent to the hotel and you have to walk a little distance to get back into the hotel and your room. They have a restaurant and bar but I never used them. There's no free breakfast; you have to pay each day, around $15-$18. Overall, an okay experience, but I don't think I'll stay there again.

Very unhappy by the time I left. Elevator is not reliable which was very inconvenient for my older dog that cannot do stairs and especially at check out this morning with a cart full of luggage and other belongings. Had to run down to the basement and push the button for the elevator and run back up the stairs when the door opened on the ground floor. There are about 8 parking spots in front of the building so if they're taken you will be parking away down the drive near the parking ramp. The lobby was never clean. Litter on the carpet the entire time I was there. My room was humid and smelled not clean. I never write negative lengthy reviews like this. No one was staying there. I see why. It's very inconvenient unless you're there for an event or conference. Front desk never answers the phone and is always sitting in the back room so you get to wait until they notice you standing there. I don't know how this place stays open. Lotta empty rooms from what I could see.

The room was muggy and smelt musty. There was clearly water damage that had not been properly fixed. Wallpaper was rippled and pulling way from the walls, stains on the ceiling and walls. Massive cob webs. Sheets were dinghy and not crisp white. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the last 15 years. They have not updated anything. Our room had only one usb port that didn’t work. The shower did have great pressure. We will not bee staying here again.

Staff not available at front desk most of the time. Hotel is dated and rundown. We will not be returning.
-
I liked the room layout, it was comfortable. The Keurig machine in the room was not working and was probably plugged due to hard water, I booked a king bed and received a queen, and Sunday morning there wasn't enough staff to keep the coffee in the lobby full. I really liked the building but the parking lot was a pretty far walk to get to the rooms. The conference center is between the lobby/rooms and the parking lot. I will most likely stay again, hopefully things are better on the next stay.

The room was in the lowest level. Smelled musty and old. Carpet was filthy, behind toilet was gross! We have stayed at Crown Plaza many times and have always thought it was good. This was a big change. Yuk!!

This property is in a convenient location for my needs but is obviously a bit outdated. The staff was excellent and the food fairly priced and good (although I was disappointed several mornings that there weren’t any more English muffins or bagels). The bed was comfortable and the room was fine. However the toilet didn’t flush well and looked a bit nasty. With all that being said, I would likely stay there again for a business trip…just not a vacation.

Nice, quiet property. Pleasant front desk staff. Restaurant on site.
