Hampton Inn Youngstown/Boardman

I have regularly stayed at Hampton Inns and those have been good overall, so will chalk this one to a one off. We had someone enter our room without authorization the first night we were there. Explanation from the manager, Brian, was that the room was not supposed to be given to a guest and that front desk "forgot" and put us in the room. The rationale given was that the room was deep cleaned and saved for someone with feather allergies, though it was clear that the all the bedding in the room was feather based. Also, the TV in the room did not work at all during our stay. We were told that it was due to a storm that had come through the area, though the storm came through after we had tried to the TV on in the first place. All in all, not a great showing for this property.

Staff was great!!! Especially Arafat, he was so generous to my 11 yo daughter who had just played an entire day of softball games. He helped us out tremendously with the room. Great customer service. He deserves an award!!!

Clean room. Clean pool. Great staff!

We stayed one night. Staff were very nice, smooth check in/out, and room was very clean. Great location to restaurants.

If you are just looking for a nice place to sleep this is the place. It’s quiet and off the beaten path. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful

The location was very quiet and easy to find.Parking was tight but well lit and safe. The website needs to be updated to have the real price of the stay. Everything we read indicated $149, but when all was said and done it was $224. The additional pet fee should be listed on the fee schedule. It was just a surprise based on what your site told us.

Kindness! It seemed muggy/moldy in certain areas. Air quality and even in parts of the hallway.

Great staff and clean Nothing

the front desk was awesome!! So kind and he greeted us with our names anytime he saw us! The breakfast buffet was also awesome. Soo much selection! And everything was very clean! Loved everything!

Our stay was great.

Not as good as previous experiences. Morning coffee - Dark roast coffee was empty, and some supplies empty, no one at the desk to ask for refill.

2. East Parking lot security accessed side door would not close and therefore provided no protection for the guests and staff. Reported to front desk, they dais they were trying to get it repaired.
