Residence Inn Youngstown Boardman/Poland

Nice room for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and baths.

The place needs leveled and rebuilt. It’s way past tired.

I didn’t like that I arrived 30 min late for my check in time and my room was fold if was ready to walk in and I’d was in the middle of being deep cleaned and we had to change rooms

Pool no longer there but great hotel.

Good Breakfast. Comfortable beds.

Everything was outdated bad. It all looked like original from when it was built. Nothing was really terrible other than that. Also, the pool is closed permanently so this alone is a reason to go to one of the other hotels on the same block. Staff was very friendly.

Everything was fine, rooms clean, breakfast was good. Staff were nice and helpful as well! Only thing was I had to wait until 4 to check, which sort of threw me behind on an event I had to go to.

Close to venue Rooms not clean. Breakfast was horrible. Waffle maker broken, no yogurt, orange juice out of order

The room keys didn't work properly. I was completely disappointed

Anyway, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Not up to the minute in decor but nothing weird or gross. I noticed one spot at the edge of the carpet front and center where it met the tile of the kitchen that was pulled up and fraying. Not major, but unusual in a higher-end Marriott brand in my experience. I would say what really fell short for me was the value. Residence Inn is always at the pricey end of Marriott range and this was no exception. It's probably the most I've ever paid for a chain hotel in a medium-sized rural town with no major attractions or events super close (a local fireworks display was considered enough of an event to fill the hotel though). Residence breakfast is always low end for a free breakfast at Marriott, probably because there are kitchens in the rooms so it's more of an afterthought. This was no exception but a bit more elaborate than what I usually have seen at Residence. It's odd to me that if they're filling the hotel at 300+ a night that they can't update or fix worn decor.

The room was outdated.. the furniture in the room was old, white water spots all over the wood. Wooden chairs all chipped up. I’ve stayed in better looking rooms at this place. However, I was highly disappointed this time. Also, I wish they would have told me at check in that there was NO POOL. I went looking for the pool, a few hours after checking in and was told … the pool had been gone since January!!! 😒😒😒 won’t stay again!

Fireplace hasn’t worked the past few times we’ve stayed there . Building is dated . The breakfast was good

Always a great stay

Would not have eaten there. No pool. Left the hotel the minute I saw the horrendous condition of the hotel. We went to another Residence Inn in Nils.

Exceptional

I was lied too and told that my room was canceled when I have proof I had to go through my insurance to get compensation. Plus staff harassed my minor children at breakfast and limited them to what they were able to eat
