Easy check in. Staff is friendly. Our room was very clean and smelled nice. Our room didnt stay cold during the night. I had to keep dropping the temperature, which isnt normal for me to go as low as I did, but it was doable. The room is very humid, which I know is a common issue anywhere, just be mindful of that. The cleaning staff comes in every day to collect dirty towels and trash, and replenish anything needed. The pool was closed during my stay due to health code violation (unsure exactly why) so that was a little upsetting for my kids, but at least the beach is like 40min away. Idk what keeps happening but three out of the four nights we stayed, we kept getting woken up to by smoke/fire alarms. The first night was around 11pm, and we had to wake up at 5am the next morning, so that sleep disturbance was uncomfortable. Another night it was around 2am I believe, and then the last time for us was around 11pm again. Maybe its smokers, idk, but having that happen during most of our stay and waking us up was not pleasant. Breakfast is very plain. Just bagels, muffins, cereal. I saw hard boiled eggs in the fridge. No warm food. Overall, the stay was good for what I paid for which was around $65 to $75 a night. I wouldnt recommend long term stay like I did, but a night or two isnt bad at all. We were there for an event at the convention center and it was cheaper to stay here than staying in Savannah.

Staff was friendly & bed was comfortable but hotel has seen better days. It’s a dive, worn out everything. Stains on comforters and sheets, holes in walls, worn dirty carpet. Continental breakfast is really pathetic. Smelled like weed everywhere you went. Was honestly the worst shape Microtel I have ever stayed in and I use them a lot. Won’t be returning to this one.

But: We encountered 2 very unfriendly front desk staff. One actually argued with me when I asked for more coffee since we declined cleaning service the first day. Said that they never provide coffee when there was clearly a coffee pot and all the coffee fixings in our room. The pool area was in very bad shape and there were old shopping carts all over the grounds in that area. The ice maker was broken on the first floor. And when I asked for an extra set of towels, I don’t even know how to explain the attitude. The 2 days we did have the room serviced, it was not vacuumed.

they let me check out early witghout chargine me for the fourth day.

Everyone was friendly and helpful but the rooms were a little dirty and things kept breaking. Overall it was a good stay.
-
Breakfast was disappointing. Very little to choose from and nothing hot except waffles.
-
mold in the shower, little black hairs on the sheets, better off staying in a homeless shelter.

Great price

Pooler was closed by health department which was the main reason I booked hotel. Also, the tv kept freezing up and couldn't watch it. I feel i should get at least a partial refund.

The hotel room and halls smell like a funeral home/abandon house. In the bathroom of our room above the shower on the walls had black specs (possibly mold). It just felt like this place was so dirty. Don’t recommend.

On the positive side: comfortable bed, functioning a/c, microwave and tv, and the continental breakfast was well done. On the negative side: the drapes were missing an attachment making them difficult to close, the toilet was not well attached, the bathroom outlet was non-functioning, there was not a single glass or cup in the room nor any kind of vending machine in the lobby - had to buy water, soda and chips from the front desk clerk. None of these were deal breakers but collectively indicated insufficient maintenance.
-
It was dirty, smelled like weed the entire stay, house keeping tried to get into our room while we were still in our room
-
Great location and good price! Friendly staff! The room was clean but we had a funky smell in our room and it felt musty. We weren’t in the room much so it didn’t matter that much but when we did come in to sleep we noticed it. We turned the air on and the musty part went away just not the smell!

The facility was clean and comfortable but did not have an elevator or exercise room. However it was only a two story building and the staff gracious about helping take luggage to second floor.
-
Location No elevator Room was 85 degrees upon arrival Facility especially in hallway & steps was very dirty & run down Front desk lady was unpleasant Hotel charged me AGAIN after I paid Booking.com at reservation and I had to use my vacation time fighting the double charge. Messaged hotel about additional charges and got NO response.

Clean, and convenient Lots of homeless in the area, was even a homeless person sleeping in the outside corridor that we had to walk around to leave. The parking area did not seem very safe .
-
Stayed for two nights and room was not cleaned. Trash was emptied and no bags put in trash cans. Bed was not made. Breakfast was poor. Only had waffles and overall was lacking.
-
The convenience to the interstate. Desk person being so loud while we ate breakfast.
-
There is nothing good to say about this place
-
Very clean friendly staff
