AC Hotel Portland Downtown/Waterfront, ME

good room. decent view.

This is a solid mid. Except there is road construction and wet pavement everywhere and you have to walk half a mile to the top floor of the parking garage. Get ready walk, people.

excellent check in / check out experience, rooms were spotless, bathroom clean. A bit of loud noise from hotel generator made a low level thumping noise. Door shutting in other rooms were loud enough to disrupt sleep in one of the rooms that I booked. Could use some type of door closing sound proofing or buffering.

Property was clean, service great, wonderful location to downtown.

Staff (especially the ones at the breakfast buffet) were extremely helpful. We heard a lot of noise from the rooms surrounding us up until midnight so I’m not sure if it was a particularly noisy group or poor sound control in the hotel but otherwise we had a great stay.

Awesome staff. Property is very clean. Bed was comfortable. Very pricey. Paid parking. If you have a large vehicle don’t bother bringing it. There is no place to park.

The hotel was advertised as having a restaurant, not true.

The service was EXCELLENT! From the front desk to the bar to the driver, the staff was professional, calm, and prepared to address all the needs and concerns that arose. The location was perfect; it allowed for easy access to a lot of the key things to do in the area, and beyond if you're a walker like myself. I would certainly consider staying there when I visit Portland again. Housekeeping was a little slow, but good nonetheless. I would like to suggest adding oat milk to the lobby coffee and tea station; many people do not drink whole milk or use the little creamers. One little thing, the lids in the room did not match the cups, so it was a challenge to try and have a cup of hot tea that stayed hot. Minor, but fixable.

Rooms were well appointed, comfortable and very clean! The breakfast was amazing as well. Close to Old Port with so many fun things to do and see!

I thoroughly enjoyed the AC Hotel Portland and cannot think of anything I would change. From the shuttle to the hotel (shout out to Gabriel), to the shuttle back to the airport and everything in between. The location, staff, my room, service, even my room's view, outstanding. Cannot think of one thing!

Staff were great. No swimming pool.

The downtown AC was a great place to stay for our long weekend in Portland! The rooms were clean, quiet, and very spacious.
