Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown-Old Port

Exceptional

The Hotel is in a great location. It's clean. The staff was wonderful. only problem I had was for the price a night plus a mendatory resort fee a night plus fee a night for parking.It should include free breakfast and free parking. At least free parking as it's horrible to find parking in Portland.

We traveled in early September with friends for a ballgame and were disappointed that the outside terrace didn’t have fire places lit and kitchen and bar closed early that were highlighted in hotel ads. It was not like it was a discount room fare that one may overlook these things. At breakfast there was only one server for the entire dining room.

Staff and room were amazing! Only downside was the tv, which doesn’t allow you to hook up a fire stick or connect to your phone. Other than that, a very enjoyable stay!

I liked the service that I received during the two breakfasts during my stay. This young man always had a smile on his face and has great customer service skills. I didn’t catch his name, but he was an absolute delight! I didn’t like that there was hair from a previous hotel guest in the standup shower

Perfect spot, right in the heart of Portland. Everything is walkable on the peninsula. Room was clean and staff were helpful.

Excellent newer hotel. Huge rooms. Clean! Great bar areas.

Great location and price point, room was beautiful.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and quiet location. A “credit” was added to the bill that seemed to only be useful for breakfast which too forever to be served. TV programming not available which seemed rather odd for today’s technology.

We liked the location, very walkable. The room was clean and comfortable the staff members were pleasant. The ice machine was in the hall right across from our room and people were getting ice late at night and early in the morning. The restaurant was understaffed and only one employee who was working hard but it was too much for one person!!!

Easily accessible Nothing in particular

Hotel was incredible and accommodating! Took the family and dog and we were not disappointed. We didn't take the car from the valet once over the course of a couple of days and just enjoyed walking around the old port area. The only minor gripe would be the hotel's restaurant which was underwhelming and pricey for what you get.

We love staying in Old Port when we visit Maine and have tried several hotels in the area. This is one we would return to for the nice rooms, walkable location, and helpful staff.

We were charged an amenities fee. Weren't told what the amenities were, however, we were told that we could use the $25 for drinks or food at the restaurant. Before breakfast, I checked with the front desk to see if we needed to have any paperwork or anything to get the fee applied. We were told, it would be credited to breakfast. We had a not great breakfast there and when we got home were told that the $25 fee never gets taken away. We were misled. If the fee is never accredited, they need to be upfront about it.

Enjoyed the lobby area and outdoor seating. Lobby bar was great. Room spacious modern and clean. Location fantastic. Parking was pricey
