Reviews
-
We had a beautiful room with great view! Valet parking is a mess right now. overall would highly recommend.
-
Very noisy, could hear other room. Pillows were terrible. Room was basic but very clean. Booked stay for family of 4, had to ask each day for 4th towel.
-
We have stayed at other Hampton Inn's and the breakfasts were better there; more food choices, etc.
-
The staff was green the room was nice and large Valley Park it was easy everything was excellent from where can I say right at the right spot in town close to the water all good! I recommend them highly
-
Staff was not friendly. Valet service is terrible. We waited 60 mins for car in the morning.
-
Kids loved the pool and the ability to get their own tea in the lobby. Breakfast was great as well. Rooms were clean and the staff super helpful. They had a power outage and we were not able to get to our rooms. The staff would escort each guest to their rooms. They really stepped up and made the process as hassle free as possible. One tip. Don't do valet! Street parking is free overnight and I parked a block away and stayed there for three days. Not evenba city ticket. So spare yourself the $40 and park for free. The lot across the street is $20 and the made is super nice. She would have let me keep the car there for $20 for the three days! The location of this hotel is prime! You're close to everything. All of the restaurants and night life. 5 stars all the way!

This hotel is in a perfect spot in Old Port! We're able to walk 5 minutes to the ferry to peaks island, as well as many shops and places to eat. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable! There is a homeless issue around the area, but seems to be a lot of downtown Portland these days, but we did not have any issues. Staff very friendly and accommodating! Would recommend for being right in town and a clean, comfortable stay!

Would not stay again
-
this is a slumpy hotel with its one positive feature being its location. They use a teenage staff to guide you who must be from the suburbs and have no idea where anything is, the pool was so hot and humid it was not worth swimming in and they are building a major new hotel next door so everything is part of ongoing construction scheduled to last the next three years.
-
No parking extra 40$ daily for valet and you need 45 minutes to get your vehicle even time
-
Clean room, coin laundry, heated pool, decent breakfast and valet parking for $40 a night.
-
The only issue was waiting for our car. They are building another hotel where they usually park the cars.
-
Well maintained. But not easy parking. $40 per night.
-
Everything was great. The only thing wrong was that we learned there was no parking on site until AFTER we booked the room. Too late to change then. Valet parking added another $40.00 per day to our stay. I feel the charge should have been mentioned before booking (during advertising) or be added to the nightly fee just as part of the nightly fee without saying it's for parking. The hotel should be honest about the fee upfront. I understand street parking was free from 6pm to 9am, but that was not mentioned to us by the hotel. I heard it from someone in town on our last day. This withholding of information seems dishonest.
-
The location was amazing. So close to everything The price was high for that time of year
-
$200 room for $700. Disgraceful Location
-

-

-
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly
-
