Clean rooms, comfortable beds, responsive staff and perfect location to enjoy Portland.

Room was spacious and fairly quiet. Location was great for exploring Portland.

When we arrived, the hotel staff couldn’t have been less helpful. Almost rude. I had called ahead and asked if we could leave our car for 5 days while we were on a Backroads trip, leaving from that hotel. The guy said, “Sure!” He didn’t happen to mention that there would be a $40/day charge to do so. The sink in our room was backed up. We called the front desk but asked them not to do anything about it until the morning, as 2 people were already asleep. Sure enough, someone knocks on the door at 10:45pm. Even worse, he said that he couldn’t fix it, that they always send him up for maintenance issues at night even though he doesn’t have tools, etc. The sink was gross. When we told them all of this at checkout they seemed totally non-plussed. Lastly, the hotel rate was ridiculous for what it was.

Restaurants on site were really good. Only knock was the coffee in the room was not good. Bland Keurig.

We are very happy with our stay! Location is great! Stuff very friendly and helpful! Room was very clean, hot water, everything you need for shower and etc including towels, shampoo and etc. Refrigerator and coffee machine in a room. Very comfortable bed. We loved everything and it’s definitely worth the price. We used the parking they offered for $40, and it safes our time, because we left our car till night time after checking out. So we did not need to park it somewhere else after checking out because you pay for 24 hours parking. They even carried our bags till we picked up car. Highly recommend!

Staff was not friendly. They did not greet us when we came in or once we came back at the end of the day.
-
The room was clean, except for one hand towel which had a stain on it. The staff was EXCELLENT. Beach view n/a and breakfast n/a

Was a guest for my first time. Absolutely loved the hotel. Cannot wait to return…. Definitely coming back

Unless they are booked solid. I ONLY stay at the regency over the last several years. Fourth floor roof deck suite market street side ftw! Cheers!
-
Good location close to restaurants and shops Need hand rails in shower stalls.
-
Great location, fitness amenities, and room service. Would stay again

The staff was really lovely and helpful. A lovely, very well located historic property. The spa was very nice!

hotel is an old classic building with charm. Unfortunately, it is tired and there are areas that desperately need updating...bathrooms are stained and paint is peeling in areas.
-
This property was a throwback today's gone by, but in a very charming way. The staff was wonderful, the armory lounge was terrific, and we liked our room. Because of the age of the hotel, there is no room to expand the bathroom. That being said, the shower was comfortable as were the other facilities. The location was fantastic. We would highly recommend this property.
-
Such a nice brick building, the rooms were comfortable and the area was perfect for walking around.
-
The check in staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Great central location for walking around Portland.
-
Great location (near shops, restaurants and bars). The bed was extremely comfortable.
-
The location was perfect. However, the front desk staff wasn’t overly helpful-friendly. Also, we had 4 adults sharing one room, the room had two double beds and was really crowded.
-
Had an absolute wonderful stay
-
Excellent location and super comfy bed. The bathroom was very dark. Bar was not open
