Portland Regency Hotel & Spa

Lovely building full of history. Room was well maintained and clean. Spa area including the gym was clean - we had two great massages as well. Valet staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and pleasant. My only small dissatisfier was that the front desk staff didn’t look up or acknowledge you when you came through the lobby.

Staff is extremely helpful.

An absolute perfect hotel for your trip to Portland. Perfect location in Old Port. Walk every where, staff so helpful and kind, manager Keith set the bar high for his team and they surely delivered!

The hotel was centrally located in Old Port. Very convenient to walk to all restaurants, sites, activities. Hotel was very clean and landscaping outstanding. All did a wonderful job in making our stay very pleasant.

The hotel's breakfast was superb - a handsome room, wonderful food, and very good service. I only had breakfast "out" one day out of four! Other staff varied in their helpfulness - I didn't get many recommendations from the front desk for guided tours or good restaurants, but they were amiable and efficient. Overall a good experience, but the room could use some more comfortable touches.

The hotel is in a great location, the room was large. Bathroom was clean and shower large with plenty of hot water. Nice amenities. We were glad that we stayed there.

Wonderful hotel walking distance from restaurants, shops, tours and entertainment. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was perfect easy to get to places and walk around Portland. The driver who picked us up from the airport was so friendly. The staff at the restaurant went above and beyond. The rooms were always clean. Only critique, we asked the front desk staff a few questions about amenities and general questions about our stay and they seemed annoyed to help and just said, follow the signs without giving any information. We asked again the next day to see if we got a better response and we didnt. We never used the amenities because we felt like we were in trouble for even asking where they were.

The property was in a perfect locations and offered a gym and spa along with places to eat. The staff was very helpful and the food was delicious! My sisters and I enjoyed our stay.

Historic hotel in quiet side of town. Great location.

Deluxe twin room was comfy for our one night stay. Great pillows and walkable area. Walls are a bit thin and sound leaks from other rooms and hall but it wasn't really an issue. Overall enjoyable experience.

The property is older and could use some updates but it was clean. The ice machine on one floor is ridiculous, even if you add one to the first floor of rooms.

This is a beautiful hotel and the best location in Portland! We walked everywhere and it’s in the beautiful old neighborhood of Portland!

We found the hotel to be very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and we enjoyed an amazing massage at the spa. Although the hotel only offers valet parking, the service was prompt and efficient. Its location is excellent—just a short drive from the port and close to plenty of beautiful scenery and attractions.

It's perfect to walk downtown/wharf area, no car needed. They provide shuttle service to and from airport which is a huge plus for me! It's a good place for a solo traveler to stay as well as there is a restaurant/bar on site so you don't have to go out at night alone if you had rather not...I would stay again!
