The employees were the best part of the stay. Checking in on us by text periodically to see if we needed anything.

Good place to stay !

For some reason (apparently not controlled by the property). Expedia issued our booking in 3 tranches for the total stay. We had to change keys every day as a result. Hotel mentioned they’ve had that happening with online third party booking. This was maneagable but not ideal.

The breakfast was delicious. And the hotel was clean and very nice. As were the staff, very helpful.

The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean but very outdated. The carpet in the rooms looked very old. You could hear everyone in their rooms. There were on no barriers on the floors. The food also wasn’t the best, but the staff was nice and it was very close to thing to do, shopping and eating were close by.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed one night (2 kids - 2 queens). Very comfy bed, generous checkout time at midday and flexible valet as we collected our car at 2:30pm after exploring Portland and heading onto our next pit stop. Very clean and had everything we needed. Had we stayed longer we’d have checked out the pool.

Cleaned fast daily. Breakfast was always good.

We had a nice stay - large room, clean, and a great, walkable location. Everything we were looking for for one night in Portland with our kids.

Excellent accommodations and location!
-
Rooms and carpet appear to be very old and in need of replacement or deep cleaning. My daughter has asthma and had issues the minute we checked in to the room. The staff were all very nice though and the location was very convenient for seeing everything on foot.

The breakfast was very good and fresh. The service staff in the dining room was very friendly. The location for walking was really good. The flip side of location- A LOT OF HOMELESS living in the park across the street. That was my view in the morning as they all sleep there and conjugate there. The city should do better to help these people. The carpets were gross. Very dirty every where. Common areas elevators room. The mattress extremely uncomfortable. The sheets and comforter were put on backwards so all the tags were in our face while sleeping. Not to mention we were right by the elevator will all the noise. They did give us free parking to make up for the continuous noise disturbance. The front desk staff were not warm and genuinely friendly. Prices are WAY too high for all these issues. I would not recommend this hotel.

Location, and the warm welcome cookies Reasonable valet service costs, considering how expensive the lots were that we saw

An excellent hotel right on the harbor. Many nearby restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Very good bar and restaurant in house too. Large rooms, nice furniture, good bathroom. All around an excellent choice.

We had a wonderful stay right in the heart of the Oldport. It was so nice to have the large kitchen and living room, especially as we were entertaining 10-12 wedding guests with donuts and coffee on the morning of. Our dog really enjoyed the elevator rides too!
-
Nice location. The room is not worth the price. Valet parking only at $40 a night. Great breakfast at Friendlys around the corner. Ate at RaRi an Irish pub across the street for something different and at Dry Dock right next door. Good atmosphere, seating outside, great bar tender Eddie.

The view of a parking lot was not what I expected for a $1600 two night stay.
