Hilton Garden Inn Portland Downtown Waterfront

Everything was great. The hotel rent per night was really high in my opinion; and I travel a lot. On top of that, the parking fee per night was $50. I think it was way too much,

They didn’t provide warm blankets. Only one day housekeeping. For this amount of money I would expect much more.

Awesome location, close to shops and restaurants. Right next to The Standard Company, a popular bakery. Only offer valet parking for $40/day and indoor pool is small. Overall, room is big and was a comfortable stay.

Especially bathroom…. Toilet paper too far away to access from commode….what? Sliding mirror doors of closet are so wide when slide to open have space only to put ur arm to reach for hanging clothing…rediculous…. Very disappointed

Great location, nice clean hotel.

Overall great location and very spacious. Only negative was the room temperature - it’s clear an establishment that has control of room temperatures when it appears the room is empty/no movement. So at night, the thermostat would go up to 76-77 degrees every couple of hours so kept waking up to turn AC back on

The employees were the best part of the stay. Checking in on us by text periodically to see if we needed anything.

For some reason (apparently not controlled by the property). Expedia issued our booking in 3 tranches for the total stay. We had to change keys every day as a result. Hotel mentioned they’ve had that happening with online third party booking. This was maneagable but not ideal.

The breakfast was delicious. And the hotel was clean and very nice. As were the staff, very helpful.

The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean but very outdated. The carpet in the rooms looked very old. You could hear everyone in their rooms. There were on no barriers on the floors. The food also wasn’t the best, but the staff was nice and it was very close to thing to do, shopping and eating were close by.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed one night (2 kids - 2 queens). Very comfy bed, generous checkout time at midday and flexible valet as we collected our car at 2:30pm after exploring Portland and heading onto our next pit stop. Very clean and had everything we needed. Had we stayed longer we’d have checked out the pool.

Cleaned fast daily. Breakfast was always good.

We had a nice stay - large room, clean, and a great, walkable location. Everything we were looking for for one night in Portland with our kids.
