front desk changed my room location with no resistance interior doors were rather dirty. The person in the next room had t v on all night. (no fault of the motel)

Despite location next to a busy road, our stay was extremely quiet and enjoyable. This was a dog approved room, but you would never know it. This site was chosen as there are two, large parks located a few minutes away.

Cheap and close enough to OCC The attendant had to go inspect the room and change towels before I went in. Kinda sketchy, but otherwise OK. For a 1-star hotel and 1 quick night away, it was fine.

The room had soft spots in the floor and so did the bathtub. It is right next to a busy highway.

Close to downtown Portland. Desk manager was nice, but lacked knowledge of how to run basic parts of the system. Felt unsafe. In a sketchy neighborhood, with sketchy folks walking through the lot regularly. Room stank. Dirt caked around light switches. Broken toilet. Card was charged twice, had to stand and wait at the desk for for 30+ minutes to get resolution.

Fine for one night. Funky 60's decor was a hoot. Perfectly adequate room. Decent fair price. Location was great with MAX very close by. A few perfectly harmless characters. Nothing obnoxious. Bring earplugs and you will sleep well.

If you were traveling by car or by public transit (The Max line) it was pretty convenient. That's all I can really say since there wasn't much to the place. Oh the A/C worked nicely. Well within minutes of being in the room I saw a bug on the bed. It WASN'T a bed bug...it was more like a weird looking fly. Also when I came in to check in the front desk guy took like 10 mins to come up....just didn't seem to really want to check me in

We liked the location. We were able to walk to a lot of places.Room was clean. I would stay again.

The landline didn't work, but then, who uses those things nowadays, anyway? This is a no frills place - bring your own fancy soap and food and be glad for the blackout curtains. Oh, abd the A/C was rockin it!

Bed and remodeled bathroom. The carpet was so stained and gross. Television channels did not match and couldn't get local channels. My husband fell down the stairs. Concrete steps where warped and thin width. He tore a hole in his jeans and knee. Almost hit his head on concrete.

It is close to the Max for public transportation. It was disgusting, very unclean. Staff doesn't seem to care that it is unclean.

  • Engine customer Jun 2014

It was cheaper than most. The place seemed neglected, stuff needed repairing, such as the door.

  • Engine customer May 2014

Nothing. Is was mis represented. It looked nothing like the ad. I went in to look at it . The gentleman at the front desk was creepy. There was full garbage can in walk way with flys around. The room he showed us wadnt the room we resrrved with 2 beds.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They have onsite laundry which is great because you don't have to drag your laundry to a laundromat. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was excellent, lots of water pressure and hot water is good. It is near a freeway, and a rail line so outside in the parking lot its noisy, but I didn't hear much from inside the room.

  • Engine customer Oct 2013

the room was pretty big here was my problem. i booked it on here and didn't see it ask me how many people were with me. when i got there and said we were 4 people he charged me $30 more that i couldn't afford. i said we need to cancel, but he said you'd charge me anyway.

  • Engine customer Aug 2013

Close to freeway I paidxxx for a room that was rundown. No blankets on the beds pillows were from past guests. No hot water. And I don't even know what was happening outside in the parking lot looked like drug alley. Police and ambulance were called.

  • Engine customer Jul 2013

It was not that bad for a one star but it is a little far to be considered downtown. It is not really loyd center downtown. It is hollywodd district.

  • Engine customer Jul 2013

This hotel is old and everything is still from the 80's. The shower had a collection of dust in it. Pool wasn't filled in.

  • Engine customer Jun 2013

Absolutely nothing. All of the staff were very rude . They have a visitor policy were all vistor have to show ID and you have to pay $15 dollars per visitor.
