Eastside Lodge

Proximity to the conference venue was good. The staff made it clear it was a hassle to help me, both when I checked in and when I requested a hairdryer for my room. There were noisy guests shouting and knocking on each other's doors each morning at 5am. My room did not appear to have had any kind of renovations for a long time and the carpet felt crusty and old.

The room did not look anything like the pictures.

This motel is a staple in my travels. It's location is centralized to where I need to go. The property itself is very well maintained and for the price, you can't beat it! I tell everyone I know about this little hidden gem.

Walking distance from venues I like to go to, clean rooms, with a fridge and microwave. Great place for the price. The only bad part was no diet soda in the vending machine. No diet soda in the vending machine.

Walkable to the Convention Center

Great location, clean rooms and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nice to have parking and A/C available too. Overall really good value and would definitely stay there again.

Decent value with parking included. Property has been renovated on the cheap and it shows. If you're picky, don't stay here.

Great price and location. The area has some places nearby to visit or a very short bus ride to Downtown.

As a frequently traveler, I stay in different hotels and this one surprises me due the location, easy to check in, close to down town plus a free parking. The room attendants are super helpful. Is an excellent place for a family with limited budget.

Parking lot is not enough. You may need parking on street.

The staff were pleasant and courteous. I was able to check my bag when I arrived (before check-in time.) The room was tidy. It had a mini fridge, a microwave, and an iron available to use.

The room itself was quite clean and the bed comfortable. Window screens missing and the shower door doesn’t close. The air conditioner did function eventually, but at first I was concerned that wasn’t: the staff had to turn the thermostat to its lowest temp to get cool air to come out. A homeless person was passed out in the stairwell one nite and the front desk staff had to remove them. Elevator out of order. Not the greatest neighborhood but at no time did I feel unsafe.

The room is smelly

the elevators were out so going up three floors was not easy. just didn't meet my expectation but it was okay no elevator, no coffee maker in the room, but i like that there was fridge and microwave

Card key repeatedly failed to unlock the door to room 112. I had to get the card keys recharged several times. Even so, the door stayed locked after the green light flashed.

Property is no smoking but room smelled like cigarettes. Burn marks on furniture and carpet. Bathroom fan didn’t work at all. Went to a concert,the room was just a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable. Walls are thin!

Broken facilities and unhelpful staff who ignored residents.

The room was fine but these little things are why I can't give it a 5. Just get there early I guess.
